Is mask enclosed around head or just open in back?

It's a strap around the back of mask or call it a face shield. Depending on child's head it won't stay in place like on our 4yo, and was hard to see out of viewing cut out. We had lil one wear it backwards to see eaiser and wore a ball cap for the strap to sit against visor, worked ok. This year with different costume with face shield found a separate Bennie to wear to match in case face shield mask doesn't stay on.
