I've been looking for a Dassie stuffed animal for years for my son who is so enamored with these animals. Super excited when these got listed! It's well made, soft and immediately earned top snuggle privileges in my kids' hierarchy of stuffed animals. Only criticism it received from the wildlife loving 10 year old was that the feet and ears are a bit bigger than on the actual animals (which are more blob-like).

This was a gift. I felt it was well made and cute but the price was high for such a small animal. I guess you are paying for the National Geographic name on the label.

I fell in love with the rock hyrax when I first saw it at the San Diego zoo. This stuffed animal is very realistic and great quality. I try to get my daughter unusual animals and this fits the bill

I brought this beaver for my girlfriend because it was the only type of this beaver that they sold as a plush. I was grumpy paying $30 (thirty) dollars ($) for it, but then it actually turned out to be an excellent quality and large size. 5/5 nice marmot.
