The multiple adjustment points make for a very comfortable fit. I like the padded shoulder straps and handy pockets. The mesh back is very comfortable, unlike the mesh back on a more expensive pdf I tried, where you wouldn't have wanted their mesh to touch your skin. The NRS mesh back is smooth, soft and nice. I don't really kayak when it's cold, but the hand warmer pockets on the NRS vest are soft and nice feeling. Glad I bought this one!!

Love this vest
Love this vest, fits well and very comfy. I don't even know I am wearing it. I use it for whitewater kayaking.

but I find this one to be incredibly comfortable, not bulky
I searched, high and low, for a PFD that would suit my needs. This one works. I realize that the purchase of a PFD is an individual thing... no two people are built alike, but I find this one to be incredibly comfortable, not bulky. I really like the double pockets...one to keep "stuff" in, the other to keep hands warm. I have a knife attached to the lash and it works very well. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Comfy Vest!!
I love this vest! Went out the next day in our kayaks and it did not ride up when I got in!! The high back allowed for a comfy experience. Pockets in the front were plenty roomy and I even have handwarmers on the sides.
