Natural Comfort Soft and Luxurious 300TC Sateen White Down Alternative Duvet Insert, Twin

I have owned the oversized king version of this comforter for four years, and just came back to purchase a second one. I have young children that sleep in my bed and my comforter has thus received much more love and attention from the washer and dryer than it would otherwise - over time the filling has spread from the baffles it should be in, eventually leaving my comforter lumpy.Why five stars anyway? It took a couple years of abuse and extra washing before this lumpiness started to occur and I don't blame the comforter. Other than that issue I love love this duvet - that's why I'm back to buy a new one! It is hard to find such a nice big oversized one that provides decent drape on a big pillow top mattress. This is the perfect weight. I live in Alaska and it keeps me warm during cold winter nights AND isn't unpleasant on warm summer evenings. I know this is meant to be an insert, but I like the bright white look in my bedroom and use it as the top blanket - the stripes are subtle but good looking. Great quality and great price, two thumbs up for this brand and product!

I don't usually leave reviews, but I'm fantastically disappointed in this item. When I first received it, I loved it, but as time has gone on the baffles have mysteriously emptied and the duvet has lost a good portion of the filling. I have taken great care of the item, and as such see no reason for the filling to have disappeared. I'm contacting amazon in hopes for a replacement, but I'm not sure what the warranty is on an item like this. I've only had the item since Mid February 2015.

So I actually purchased this in July of 2015. It is now March 2016.Oh My Goodness this comforter is heavenly. I used to have an extremely expensive 100% goose down comforter. This comforter is SO MUCH BETTER. It has all the softness and warmth of a natural goose down without all the feathers poking you in the face. I can throw it in the washer and dryer without any problems with uneven distribution between squares. Ive actually washed this many times and forgot how difficult having a real down is compared to this. If you are reading a million reviews right now, trying to find the comforter of your dreams (like I was when I first purchased this) don't look any further. This one will last you awhile and keep you wanting to stay in bed forever.Disclosure: When drying the comforter you're going to have to let it air dry a bit even when placing in dryer. Its a big comforter and dryers can only do so much. I just put mine on the bar stools until it is completely air dried.

Im in love with this comforter!! Its made very well with piped edging and extremely soft beautiful material! It fluffed up very lofty right before my very eyes and within minutes both of my hyperactive children AND my weenie dog were fast asleep on top of it lol. The first night i had it on my bed was the first night my 2 yr old slept through the entire night and if you have babies i dont need to tell you how valuable that is haha! It came shipped very quickly and packaged very well. The entire experience has been a pleasant one and i absolutely stand behind this product 100% and i was not compensated in any way for my opinion which might hold a little bit more weight with some of you. This is a fabulous duvet insert buy it you wont be sorry! I included images of the comforter with and without a duvet cover. So plush and soft! Oh and btw I ordered the oversize king for my extended queen bed so that there would be plenty of overhang on each side of the bed so you can get a better judgement on the actual size of it. Also it feels lightweight and airy on your body but at the same time it is warm and cozy without being sweltering. I was choosing between no less than 10 other comforters both in stores and online but chose this one based on the customer images and reviews plus it has the doby stripes that i was looking for as well as actually being a true baffle box design to keep the down like fiber fill in place which it does perfectly. I just cant say enough good things about this item. I have achieved a 5 star resort bed and this duvet went a long way towards making it that oh so soft and relaxing comfort you expect from a stay in a very expensive hotel. It truly feels like im laying between 2 fluffy marshmellows (i also got a nive thick down alternative mattress cover as well ) im a very happy customer and i think you will be too! I purchased this Natural Comfort Soft & Luxurious 300TC Sateen White Down Alternative Duvet Insert, Oversize King duvet insert for my Yue Textile King Size Duvet. in the "swirl" pattern. What a good choice We live in Florida and I wasn't looking for warmth so much as a "look" I do think it will work great on a Florida winter night and maybe for a A/C but if you needed a comforter for warmth this would do the job too. . It is soft & fluffy just like I wanted. The package came on time. There are tabs sewn in on each corner so it can be tied to the duvet cover. The fit was perfect. Sometimes it is hard to judge things like fluffiness when shopping but this duvet insert did not disappoint. I would think that anyone would be happy with this purchase. I thought the quality was excellent I added a picture of how the insert looks in my duvet I JUST ADDED A COUPLE OF PICS TO SHOW HOW THE INSERT IS SECURED TO YOUR DUVET COVER.

I've used this down-alternate duvet, with a duvet cover, since 2010. I wash it in industrial sized washers and dryers (with dryer balls) at the laundromat, at least 2x a year.Overall, the duvet remains intact. It keeps me warm from fall through Spring in Michigan weather. But in the summer, I store it, as I easily overheat in bed and need a lighter cover during summer months.Unfortunately, over time and wash cycles, the inner material clumps within the individual squares. And, I can't seem to break them apart. Also, a few seams of the squares have opened up, allowing the fill to shift asymmetrically.After 8 years, I'm thinking about replacing it, as now it is lumpy. And, I don't like that lumpy look showing through the duvet cover.
