Ascent and Venturist Series Tamper Holder (064585)

This tamper tool is a workflow essential for Vitamix users. While it’s baffling that it isn’t included with the blender itself, this accessory works flawlessly for its purpose. Fits onto the base securely and holds the tamper tightly! If you own a Vitamix, don’t hesitate—this should’ve been in the box, but it’s 100% worth adding to your setup.

One of the annoying things about the Vitamix is the elusive tamper. Where will it show up today? In the drawer of everything? In the utensil holder? You just never know where it would be. Thankfully this holder does was it suppose to, holds the tamper right next to the blender. It should of been something that came with the mixer but I know the corporations need to make their money. The price point was a bit much when the tamper itself is half the price of the holder. If I had invested in a 3dPrinter, I would have printed something for the fraction of the price but with that being said, it does what it does, holds the tamper next to the mixer.

Love this stupid thing! LOL I am happy now that the plunger to my vitamix has a home and is not reeking havoc in my draw or counter top. It is easy to install and makes everything nice and neat. Personally I think it should come with the vitamix for the cost of the mixer, but I am just glad to have it now. Get it you will love it.

This is great and while not totally necessary it is practical and keeps the tamper conveniently nearby while blending. I agree with another reviewer that this should come standard with the blender since it already costs a small fortune or this could be priced lower at least. That is my only complaint. I do not regret getting it though, due to the convenience. It seems pretty sturdy.

Keeps your tamper from dripping on the counter, or whatever other surface where you may store it.(disclaimer: I did not keep this item, as I purchased the wrong model for my machine, and re-ordered the correct model. Since I already opened it, I did try to attach it to a friend's unit before returning mine, for purposes of this review.)

I was having a difficult time storing my Vitamix tamper. I saw, in one of my Vitamix groups, that people had a tamper holder that attached to their machine. I checked Amazon, read the reviews and decided on this one. It doesn't take up much room and is easy to clean if it gets dirty. My tamper fits perfectly and is now very handy when I make a shake or soup. If you order one, be sure it is compatible with your Vitamix model. There are other ones that will not fit all machines. I recommend this product.

Works great for what it is. Holds well on our A7500 Vitamix and does what it's supposed to. A little overpriced for what it is though.
