Shoes look nice but a bit stiff and not as comfortable as I expected

Nice looking casual shoes in a great dusty olive colour
Dusty Olive is a great colour, I wish more footwear had a green option. I like the chunky style of these shoes, they give elevation to your height and make your legs look longer, and look great with trousers. The style is streamlined, so no fussy details to catch the eye. In my view a perfect looking casual shoe, and very comfortable when you get the right size. The elastic side panels give flexibility. Very suitable for casual wear around town and country.

The best shoes I've ever owned
OK, so my girlfriend calls them 'old people shoes', but what does she know? I'm on to my third pair in eight years (all black ('Midnight'), I'm not so keen on the other colours they come in). They are definitely the best shoes I've ever purchased. Extremely comfortable, incredibly durable (in all weathers) - what more can I say? Buy them, you won't be disappointed.

Great all round travel shoe
Ive had several pairs of these Merrill shoes in the past. Wear them for walking / light hiking and sometimes to gym. Very good travelling or weekend shoe. Light and tough. Donβt look it but they are waterproof and the suede cleans very easily. When they do wear out (my first pair is 5 yo now) they tend to go at the back where the pull tab is so my advice would be to rip them on and off as theyβll last longer of you put them on an off carefully and donβt pull the back tab too hard.

Best ever
I've had these pairs for more than 5 years and they still look very good. They are very comfortable and I'm thinking of buying other pairs.

Comfy quality
I first bought a pair of these Merrell Moc slip ons almost by accident five years ago, as they were on offer in a local shoe shop when I was browsing one day. The wow factor when I put them on for the first time was what convinced me to buy another pair. I now have three pairs of jungle mocs in two different colours. An ergonomically designed trainer style sole on these shoes affords a great deal of support and comfort when walking and the toe/heel guards protect the front and rear from accidental scuffing. There are similar style shoes on the market cheaper, but they just don't compare for quality and comfort, plus longetivity of life: my first pair are still going strong. And the sheer convenience of a slip on shoe which grips the foot gently but evenly is unbeatable.Definitely a good buy for the price.Update 2014.I've bought yet another pair of Merrell Mocs, and almost nine years on from buying my very first pair, I can vouch for the fact that the quality is just as good. So often manufacturers get a popular line made more cheaply to increase or maintain their profit margin, but it looks like this manufacturer hasn't compromised on quality. They also make a bigger range of colours and styles now.

So good I keep buying them. Pair number 10 and counting...
I've been buying a pair of these every year for about 10 years, to get me through the winter. Then I retire them to gardening duty for another year. They are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned (and I'm 56, so I've got through a few pairs in my time) - better yet, Merrell haven't messed with the design significantly over this time. They're smart enough to wear to work, rugged enough to take for walks, and warm enough to pad around in snow. And because they're slip-on, they're the go-to pair for a quick trip to the shops or whatever. I strayed once for the far cheaper Cotton Traders imitation, but came back to Merrells - that should tell you lots. My sizing is about right for these - they feel a little tight for the first three weeks, then soften up nicely. Perhaps go half a size bigger if you're a halfway type.
