Women's Belted Long Down Jacket with Faux-Fur-Trimmed Hood

I LOVE this coat! It is gorgeous, and I feel like so much the 'diva,' if you will. I have received numerous compliments even when I'm wearing exercise attire underneath! I normally wear a medium, but I decided to go with a large. It's slightly big, but I'm happy with my decision to buy a large as I tend to dress in bulky clothing during winter months. As far as quality, the craftsmanship is top of the line. The length is wonderful as it covers my thighs and keeps them toasty. With regard to warmth, um, let me just say, you will NEVER get cold with this bad Billy on! True story: While I was in the grocery store, this coat was making me so hot, I had to take it off while shopping! I wanted a coat that keeps me warm - and as they say, be careful what you wish for! Tehehe! I had entertained the idea of purchasing a Columbia coat, but not one of the coats of said brand met my expectations. This coat, however, exceeded them. I'm sorry I'm a bit loquacious, but I really think this coat is magnificent, and the price was excellent!

I'm 5'1, 115lbs, small chested, and the small fit me well (could actually been comfortable in an XS if that option was available). It's a very warm coat for being lightweight, and very inexpensive compared to other long down coats out there. The only downside is the hood - without a hat, it kind of falls down past my eyes.

Ordered two, one in purple and one in black...Really pleased with the quality style and warmth of these!!! Detachable hood via zipper, and detachable fur trim on hood via snap buttons: VERY nice features, the fur in particular. I have passed up many a coat due to the bad combos out there: super-floppy too big hoods/ too much fur trim and/ or without the option to detach fur trim, and just generally looking sloppy because of these things. The purple is dropdead gorgeous in particular, in my opinion. A perfect splash of gemmy color for all those drab grey winter days! The black is equally stylish, well made, and warm warm warm for all those color-phobic shoppers out there.This down filled winter coat is amazingly well constructed and tailored for a flattering slim fit. I absolutely love both of them and would certainly reccomend this brand to friends and family as a superior option for warmth (at 80% down / 20% feather-fill--wow), as well as style and fit. Many brands use 60/40 combo fill (or less) which although warm, wont keep you as warm as 80/20! If you're looking for a great winter coat, you might be crazy if you pass this one up. At under $100 (retail $249!), the quality and warmth this coat delivers is a no-brainer. 10/10 would buy again.

not sure if others had this issue, judging by reviews and description I thought the med would work, it was way too big, returned it and exchanged it, because amazon is awesome, the small came, it was still pretty big, fits but very bulky and made me feel like Stay Puft Marshmellow Man lol not just that, I never did use it. finally went to use it this year because it snowed and the zipper broke already. can't zip it up. other than all this, the quality seemed ok and it seems warm, I just didn't have luck with it and don't care for it. waste of my money

Not happy @ all — I usually LoVE all my Amazon clothes I order. I am a 14/16 and ordered 2 sizes up for comfort, this 3X fit, barely, but, NOT big enough to wear turtlenecks, sweaters or layerered clothes for wintertime in Michigan. Beautiful Coat, though, sad to return ...

I was really hesitant to make this online purchase, but I needed a winter coat...was wonderfully surprised with the quality and warmth of this coat. It fits true to size and looks great. The faux fur hood is sorta cheap looking, but It snaps off and the hood can be worn without it. I'm pleased with the coat and it is now my go-to for heading outdoors in Chicago winters. The only true con is that I wish the coat had some interior pockets.

I usually get a small (5'0'' , 140 pounds) but I heard that this jacket runs small so I ordered a medium. It fits well (not too snug) and gives me room to layer up for cold NY days. But I overall I find it to be warm jacket. Took off two stars because I do get some shedding from the down inside the jacket and I wish the pockets were fleece-lined. Also wish there were pockets inside the coat.

I wore this jacket to Iceland in February and it kept me warm in the windy, rainy, cold weather. I love that it is so light weight and is the perfect length. It's very good quality for a surprisingly reasonable price. I plan on purchasing again in a different color.
