I bought this set so that I could try the 2 mm pencils. I had never drawn with them before and was curious to see how they were compared to regular lead pencils. Needless to say I am extremely satisfied with the effect these pencils give, and will be buying more. The set comes with mini colored led, as well as black led in addition to erasers. The letter is very pigmented, but easily erasable as long as you don’t press down too hard. The colors come in a wide variety as well. If you have the right sharpener, the lead becomes extremely sharp, so it’s good for fine details as well I haven’t had any lead break on me so they seem to be very stable. overall, these are very good pencils for the price so I would recommend buying them if you’re thinking about it.

The June Gold 2.0mm mechanical pencil set arrived and appears to be as pictured and described in the Amazon listing for it. The set includes four pencils with upper metallic barrels, each differentiated by a different color, rubber-like and textured lower barrel grip. Lead is fed to the tip by clicking the top cap. The top cap can be remove to also serve as a lead sharpener, via the hole located in the top of the cap. Each pencil is comes loaded with a 2 mm 2B black lead. Included in the kit are 36 spare 2B black lead refills and 36 different color refills with no indicated hardness. Finally, the set includes two 58 mm x 20 mm (~2-1/4" x 13/16") by white rubber erasers.The pencils are easy to grip, control and operate, easily extending and retracting the leads. I tested the sharpener after deliberately dulling a lead point and it was able to put a point back on the lead. The included leads produce good lines. I also tested one of the included erasers on marks made with a pencil from the set and it worked fairly well.While these are no Staedtler Mars Technico 780 lead holders, each of which costs about the price of one of the June Gold kits, these are certainly useful for light work and in my case, for marking cutting lines and making clear and legible notes on construction materials. The 2 mm leads are much sturdier than 0.9 mm or 0.7 mm leads and appropriate for marking tasks.

Great mechanical pencils .... 2.0 lead .... I did not know just how FAT 2.0 was. I wanted a few colors for on my desk to highlight some things now & then. I kept having to go dig a marker out of my craft area ... but these work perfect for my cause. They will likely last a long time. Cheaper than markers too. I recommend them for highlighting in a book, or on a printout you want to note something on. Love them. Got all the colors.

They are definitely quality but the colored pencil type pieces that comes with the pencils could be better. They're just good for sketching. No coloring with them, really... If you like doing colored sketches though, this is a good starter set to get. Aside from this i also bought some more of the tubes of pencil graphite seperately. Definitely worth the money. Oh and it comes in a plastic package that isn't so sturdy but you really don't have to worry about anything in there breaking because the pencils are sturdy and tubes the graphite refills come in is a hard plastic container. So nothing should be broken. And the erasers are alright but I have my own favorite erasers already. So i just use those instead of these erasers.

I'm super done with any mechanical pencil with a caliber less than 1.0mm after using these.Originally I got these to replace the pens I was using for my workout logs. The ink in the pens would boil and crust up in my gym bag in my truck during many sweltering days this summer. Not sure how y'all's summers were but this entire area was a Bikram studio from May to ... just two days ago.Oh, yeah ... yes. What led me to this purchase? Well, I go analog in the gym with regular paper and pen (now pencil) because I don't want to mess with my phone. I also may or may not have an unnatural attachment to blank notebooks with graph paper in it. And also writing implements. Okay, my secret's out! Is everyone happy now?!?!?! YOU'VE DISCOVERED MY SECRETAnyway, these are very high quality, came with its own eraser, even. Not one of those pink sawdust erasers, mind you. But an artist quality white eraser. My plan to replace the gym pens with these worked. These don't have ink to cook, the leads are thick enough to be readable, and the hefty print is just as easy to read as that written with pen ink.It has a built in sharpener so there's always a point on it, not a dull block like with regular mechanical pencils. This keeps it from breaking. Not that 2.0mm is easy to break, but yanno what I mean.These are fantastic. I'll never use another kind of pencil. And you may have been able to sense that I'm kind of particular about my office supplies.

These are great for the cartoon sketches I am doing.The thicker lead is great for shading. And just drawing in general.

I took a chance on these, as I have 2.0 mm lead holders of various kinds, some heavier, some much lighter plastic, and these looked more like regular pens/mechanical pencils. They did not disappoint! They feel very good in my hand, and are easy to write with. The are sturdy, durable, not fragile, not heavy, not clunky, but just right. The leads are great. Good quality and just the right softness for my taste. Very happy with these and would definitely buy again.

Pencils look good. I like the four different colored grips that I can coordinate with different colored lead refills.Nice and bold. Rugged for a heavy handed writer.All of the graphite and color refills arrived in pieces. Very few pieces were worth saving. I got one green, one purple, one red and just the graphite that was in the pencils.Pity
