very happy with a good deal
I am delighted. I have a 6 year old game computer that chugs along okay. Planning on rebuilding it again so I'm collecting "new parts" that will find their way into a new computer. I bought this PCIe Adapter card so I could give the NVMe sticks I bought a try. My dated Sabertooth board only has PCIe 2 so a couple generations of that technology has gone by. I had $15 to "gamble" with seeing what this would do. Well, it works much better than expected. I picked it up from the Post Office and literally assembled it at the bar while drinking a couple Miller Lites. So went at it slow and in no hurry... "some assembly required". I can't see all that well and I was drinking and it still went together without much problem. I have two NVMe drives and they both wouldn't go on the Adapter... both are "M" key. So yeah, it will take two drives but one has to be "B" key... *meh*. Assembled it with one PCIe3 class 3500MBs drive. Later I put it in my computer... no problem just snaps into an available PCIe slot. I had a full length "16" slot so that is where it went because it was easy to get at. You can put a smaller device in a larger PCIe slot and they work fine. Didn't show up when I fired up the computer. No panick... it was there in the Device Manager. Had to name and format it. Then shazam there it was. I moved a CIV6 game on to the new Adapter/NVMe rig and gave it a try. Amazing... feels like double the speed. I didn't not expect game play to be enhanced but it is clearly much quicker. I may put off building a new computer as this made the old machine feel brand new. Reminds me of going from a HDD to a SSD a few years back... just a new level of performance. Money well spent. You do need some fiddle skills to assemble and get the new drive into the system but nothing was "hard"... google if you get stuck.

Couldn't ask for more
As you can see from the photo, I put this in a Dell 5810 (has no NVMe slots) and it booted off the NVMe SSD just fine. Speeds are about what I would expect from this drive. I also used the SATA m.2 slot and it is indeed completely seperate. (ie you plug a sata cable into it)It was plug and play. It worked straight away.

Excellent price solid performance, tools included.
Everything you need to install 2 M.2 SSD's, so long as you make sure 1 is PCIe and the other is SATA. Feels well made and is performing as expected. Recommend!

Easy to install. I was having trouble getting a driver. Have it Frankenstein installed but it does allow access to the hard drive installed on it

Very fast nvme drive!
Works great with the closer pci slot to the motherboard just fine. But when I plugged the sata plug in my pc was crashing often even with no drive in that second slot. I unplugged the sata cord and all is well again. The speed are insane. Over 3500mbs on my 1tb nvme drive. So I had to drop a star because of the crashing with sata cord. Not sure if having a drive in the sata slot would stop that from happening though? Overall it's a ver cheap solution to add the epic nvme drive to any desktop with an empty pci card slot.

Just buy it. Why can go wrong with $10
I love it so far. I got 3008 mbps with Samsung Gen 3x4 NVME.

Don't, just don't
Just fired up a new PC build with this card installed and it fried. I am just hoping it didn't get the two M.2 drives installed on it!
