Purchased this to weigh my kids 4 H pigs. Accurate reading (we weighed ourselves to check). You can either use the batteries included for the display screen or plug into power with the ac plug included. You will need an 8mm socket or wrench to unscrew the bolts on the back cover where the display screen, feet for scale etc are stored. The screws are pretty loose and there was a screw for one of the sides loose in the box that we couldn’t get back in but we just left it out. Overall a great deal for a scale that works! The pigs were a pain - figured out have to weigh them when they’re hungry, put food on the scale and finally weighed them. Hoping this will last through a couple years of animal weighing!

I bought this to monitor the weight of my 2 large dogs. Accessories and instructions are in the recessed compartment on bottom. Some sleuthing revealed the instructions and some hardware had slid through a gap in the compartment which required disassembly of outer case to retrieve. Easy to do by removing 8 sheet metal screws. That's how you have to attach the handle anyway, though there is no mention of that in instructions. Intuitive controls that are at the end of a 3 ft. coiled cord for easy mounting on an adjacent wall or just hand held while weighing. Weighings were accurate with a hold function button to freeze weight. Reliability to be determined, but so far so good.

Overall this was worth it. I have mastiff breeds that I both own and foster. This is perfect to be able to weigh them without a trip to the vet

I am very unhappy with this scale. We have had it a little over a month… we got it to weigh pigs my kids are raising for 4h. Set up was easy enough but from the beginning the weight seemed off. After about a week we would weigh one pig, then have to take the batteries out to reset the display which would freeze… yesterday I went out and even resetting will not fix the display.. as soon as it zeros out the numbers start climbing even though nothing has touched the scale. We purchased a scale exactly like this last summer but unfortunately my kids left it where animals chewed the wire… it was an excellent scale. so we were hoping this would replace it. The worst part? I tried to return the scale but missed the return window by a few days… this is an expensive purchase for only a 30 day return policy… and no way to contact the seller… very unhappy and would give 0 stars if I could.

I purchased this to way through dogs that come to us for training as well as to keep track of my own dog’s weight.So far it has been very consistent. For the cost this has been an exceptional scale and helps me operate my business with surety that we are helping care for our client dogs well.I am not sure 100% calibrating the device because it’s about 1/2 pound off from the kettlebell weight that I’m using. However it could also be the kettlebell may not be accurate.

We bought this to weigh lambs and goat kids. After fashioning a sort of cage to keep them with all four feet on the scale, it worked out beautifully. Wish I'd taken a picture to show. Our dog weighs in perfectly at her weight (44 lbs), so we know it's given accurate readings.

This is a medium size get scale that works great. I measured it agaisnt a calibrated scale (precession scall used for peice counting) and it was within. 01 lbs at a weight of 50lbs. Great product just make sure to you open the back panel to get the feet and display out. A+

Item didn’t work, so we contacted seller and refund is being made or they will send one that works. I’m satisfied with the outcome.

It is lighter than our old one, and easier to move around - which is important for us, especially right now when we have dogs in quarantine.It was easy enough to set up, all the parts come tucked away in a little compartment on the bottom. I am considering buying another one because it was so affordable so we can keep them in different areas of the shelter.Only negative is the platform is stainless steel so requires a mat on it to give the animals safe footing. This is easily overcome by putting our own rubber mat down.

DOES NOT WORK out of the box. I did not get it set up right away, and now it's too late to return. There is no support, and no warranty. Tried recalibrating - does not work. It's very inaccurate, and not consistent. 140lb object read 176... 200 read 244.

It did not work scale was measured a 300lb man as 59 lbsIt was very costly to return due to size $63.75

Will not weigh!!! We tried everything and it is complete garbage. Bought from Forkwin, requested to have product returned and refunded. It was approved instantly. Sent the scale back via purolator, and Forkwin refused delivery twice and was sent back to me! Very displeased!!
