I really liked the idea of this treadmill. It took up minimal space and would be great for easing into walking (I have a sedentary job and haven't walked a treadmill in some time). At first, I couldn't get it to work and the instructions were not great. I long pressed (more than 4 seconds) on the remote and now it was "paired" with the treadmill. So, then it worked great the first, say 8 times, I used it. Then the remove stopped working. You REALLY need a remote for this treadmill. Otherwise, it is just a giant paperweight. Getting it up to the speed you want and then jumping on it is a really bad idea, as is bending over and trying to get it up to speed (2 MPH). And even trying to press the buttons with a long pole, such as a broom doesn't work (it needs a finger touch). So, essentially, you cannot use it without the remote.I contacted Amazon and they gave me a refund for $20.99 in order to buy a replacement remote on their website. It came. It didn't work. Contacted the manufacturer. They also sent out a replacement remote. Didn't work. On both of the new remotes I tried to "long press to pair with treadmill". Brand new batteries and everything -- NOTHING.I let the manufacturer know the none of the 3 remotes worked. They quickly issued me a full refund and said I didn't have to bother trying to return the 80 lbs treadmill, which saves me a lot of hassle even though I saved all the plastic, styrofoam and box. The manufacturer was actually really great with customer service and trying to resolve my issue.I would give customer service a 5-star for their effort and turn around time for responding. The treadmill I would give a 4-star when it worked (my needs were very basic - small, potentially portable, relatively quiet, don't need pulse monitor, etc).I really wish that the remotes had worked because it was a pretty decent little treadmill with a decent price tag.

I have been using this unit for about 1 week. The remote stopped working after 3 days, but not the end of the world for me... its a little noisy but not too noisy. perfect for walking or walking quickly. the max speed is under 4 mph so because of this and the build quality, I would not recommend running too hard on it. Though the build quality is pretty solid for the unit. (not the remote). It's heavy too. not a good idea to move it every day.I mostly use this unit to take breaks from my desk while telecommuting. I don't spend more than 15 mins on it. I used a computer mat underneath to protect the carpet.-1 star for the remote.1+ star for quick shipping.1+ star product as described.1+ star for build quality (of the unit).1+ star overall experience.

I order this little compact treadmill to help with my new year\'s resolution. I received the treadmill on time however, when I tried to operate it, there was a loud screeching sound and the belt kept slipping. After calling customer service, I was sent another one. On this one, the belt also kept slipping but the screeching noise was not there. By the way Abraham in customer service is awesome! Anyway, now I have 2 treadmills that seemingly didn\'t work. Instead on tossing the two, I decided it may be worthwhile to contact a company that services sports equipment. After paying an additional $100.00, both treadmills were fixed. The first one had a small plastic part that rubbed up against the belt causing the screeching noise. Both treadmill belts needed adjustment and lubrication. Now that all works well, I'm enjoying the machines but would caution you to add the lubrication prior to operating. The treadmill, in my opinion and in the opinion of the service man, it was well worth the price.

This smaller treadmill is perfect for those of us who want to keep active. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that some treadmills have, but I'm not training for a marathon; I just want o build up my stamina. The only downside is that remote drains its battery quickly, so I've learned to take the battery out of the remote when I'm not using it. The treadmill had an option to purchase an extended warranty, which I did. When the remote broke, they promptly sent out a new one. Another minue is that the on/off switch is at the base of the treadmill. There really would be no safe way of turning the machine on at the base and then jumping onto the belt. So if you lose the remote, you'll find it difficult to use the treadmill unless you have a friend turn it on and select the walking pace for you while you're standing on the belt.

I purchased this product a couple of weeks ago and just had opportunity to take it out the box for use (as you can see plastic is still on it in some areas). I can't get the bar to raise up and the directions provided to do so are awful, it's like the foot folding switch is stuck or something, not easy to raise up and down at all as I have yet to raise it nor even to get the machine started once I flip the switch to turn it on. All I see is SAFE on the display and the machine will not start. As I said the directions are horrible as I have read through them. I will more than likely return this item, if I can't get it to work and or if the seller can't provide some type of help or replacement product. Sad to say I do not have any good feedback to provide at this time like that of those whom purchased before me. Also, the digital display on the far left is not lit up all the way either; the zero shows half lit (you can see per the picture and this was at the start per me turning it on). This product cost too much money to take out the box and it's not working adequately. There needs to be a contact number or something for help and I can not even get to the website adequately for support from my work computer. I am very disgruntled and by far this is the worst product I've ever purchase from Amazon. I don't know if I need a replacement or what, but I'm mad because I bought this product for exercise in my office and can't even use it. If I could rate it no stars I would. #VERYANNOYED

The media could not be loaded.  This is just what I need for a tiny apartment. It fits in a little space I have left. Easy to move around the living area. The remote is working fine. I just received it (after a gazillion years of waiting for the Purolator to deliver it..thank you to the Purolator guy for bringing it to my door...thank you Amazon customer service. You are ahmeyzing!)...but I could not wait to test it. For the amount that I paid, it's worth it. I am very much certain that this will be perfect for a walk and jog when the weather is yucky or when I am too lazy to go outside.Walk and jog. Not for sprinting. Low noise. Space saving. Light. Movable.

The media could not be loaded.  It’s been a little over a month since I’ve bought it, and already it’s making noise. I’ve lubricated the machine and checked the belt, but nothing seems to resolve the loud whirring noise. This was good for a month but now is very noise. Not worth it.

Remote is no good

This is a great product for my studio apartment. Easy to store, compact, quiet motor and fulfills my functional needs of a low speed treadmill. Great for slow jog, walking while watching tv, reading a book. The customer service department is excellent at responding to concerns and helping with understanding how programming works.Well worth the money and great alternative to going to a gym.
