Good drive, one caveat
When I received the drive today, there was no surrounding box or cushioning. Someone slapped a shipping label on the OEM box and dropped it in the mail. The box took some damage, but fortunately it did not reach the contents. The drive itself is very compact and quite attractive. The power/data connection is microUSB. The included cable has double USB-A connectors. Some computers do not supply enough juice to run the unit by itself, so there is a second USB connector just for power. I plugged mine into a USB-C adapter, and it runs just fine without a need for the second plug. The drive seems to function just fine. It has read and played Blu-ray disks, DVDs, and an audio CD. I have burned a data DVD with Toast 20, and it functioned just fine (write speeds ran from 4x to 7x, which is excellent). It read from an UHD 4K disk just fine, but could not play the movies. This problem is because of the lack of software for 4K disks for the Mac. It will play 4k files just fine, but the two major software packages for playing Blu-rays on Mac don't yet handle 4K Blu-ray disks yet. Leawo says a future update will address this. Macgo player doesn't say anything yet.One issue: this little drive is noisy at times. When playing or burning disks it's relatively quiet. When spinning up or down or moving the head around, it can be quite noisy. Still, I'm happy I bought it. My experience with it is short, but so far, so good.

Does Everything I Want and More!
I bought this seven months ago in October 2020 and it's been great so far. I am a Mac user and I am able to rip Blu-rays with MakeMKV, I have done DVD and Blu-ray authoring (with a separate application, not the included ones because they’re PC only) and I’ve burned dual-layer Blu-ray discs and dual-layer DVDs. It should also work for triple layer discs such as 100GB Blu-rays, but I’ve not tested triple layer discs, only dual layer. When I’m burning discs, it’s remarkably quiet; at least, I can’t hear it over my MacBook Pro fan unlike other drives I’ve had. I love that this drive has a pop-out disc tray and a pinhole ejector. When discs periodically gets stuck inside, you can stick a pin in the hole and get the disc tray to manually open.It plays all of my commercial 1080p Blu-ray movies. I don’t own any 4K Blu-ray movies nor do I have a computer monitor that supports 3D video, so I can’t speak on the 3D & UHD capabilities of the drive.Software:Mac Users- We’re on Our OwnI primarily use the Mac and I am aware that the included Cyberlink software is several years old and works on the PC only. Mac users don’t need any extra software to rip with MakeMKV, but you will need to go find your own software to play Blu-ray movies such as MacGo Blu-ray Player and you’ll likewise need to hunt down a decent Blu-ray authoring software (Roxio Toast 19 Pro is rubbish but it can potentially get the job done as long as you use Verbatim discs only).PC Users- The Software is Old but AdequatePowerDVD 14 is old but it does exactly what it says on the tin- it plays Blu-rays. Power2Go 8 does CD/DVD authoring and data CD/DVD burning, but it only burns data Blu-rays, it doesn’t do Blu-ray authoring, which is unfortunate. If you’re a PC user that wants to do Blu-ray authoring, you’re up the creek without a paddle using the outdated bundled software that comes with this drive. Power2Go 11 and newer allegedly does Blu-ray authoring.Verdict: This Drive is AmazingAll in all, I’m very happy with the drive. It’s been quite reliable. Mac users shouldn’t count on utilizing the software, but the drive itself is capable of doing literally anything- writing dual and triple layer discs, playing UHD, 3D, etc. This Blu-ray drive has earned its 5 stars.

Good 4K UHD Drive with LibreDrive & Fast Ripping Support
Works extremely well, especially with LibreDrive for watching and ripping up to 4k blu-rays with no problem. Reads and writes extremely fast, is very compact and affordable. The only downsides are it uses an ejecting tray, which feels flimsy, and it gets very very loud when reading/writing discs. However, if you are gentle with it, it should last a while.

Great functional DVD/DB drive
Works great under linux, dare I say as good as internal drive. It is fast and reliable.Update May 2020, one year after purchase Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLCI purchased model BP60NB10 - I tried to play UHD disk earlier this month - the drive would not read it. To my disappointment - I discovered that the drive was actually model BP50NB40 not capable of playing UHD. I checked the original box - labeled as BP60NB10. So, it seems that I was defrauded and trusted Amazon way more that I should despite scratches on the drive and old manufacturing date.Well, I would advice all Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLC customers to check their items properly on delivery. Do not wait whole year, like me, to find out that you got cheaper and used item instead of what you purchased.I am not taking stars off the item - if I could I would take stars of Sold by: Amazon.com Services LLCI only wish these drives would get an update once per couple of years - mine was made in 2016 - surely there is something to improve about these drives. Perhaps USB-C for more/better power and connectivity without dongles.
