Needed something during the COVID-19 shut in
I love how early this was delivered. My partner put it together for me in less than 30 minutes. I'm about 280 lbs and this holds my weight which is what matters to me. It's small enough to fit in my livingroom. Another bonus since I can watch movies. I live in a flat area so the incline helps give an extra amount of exercise. One thing that I do not really like is the resistance options. I have the resistance at the highest level but I am not noticing a difference. I purchased a pair of sneakers for using this treadmill but I find that barefoot is better for the resistance. My sneakers have solid grips so, maybe that has an effect on how well it works? That is my only little complaint. I can go barefoot to get some good exercise as long as I am just walking.I was missing my daily walking routine so this machine is a lifesaver!

Overall very nice unit!
Intoduction: In general, manual treadmills, those without motors, are certainly cheaper than motorized ones. The biggest pro is cost. The next biggest pro is weight - manual treadmills will weigh rather less than any motorized unit worth getting. The con is that your body dictates the speed, and how you walk on the unit can cause the unit to stop. Meaning you should be positioned toward the middle of the platform and not close to the front, or a bit farther back, for a more consistent walk. Since your body powers the belt, this means your body has to start it up. This does add momentary wear'n'tear to one's preferred knee. Those with arthritis would find this to be a potential downside. Also, for any treadmill, have a pair of NEW shoes, dedicated SOLELY for the treadmill. That way it doesn't get covered in muck and stuff. Also, get some good insoles like memory foam to help out your joints. What's good:* The TR3000 is largely pre-assembled out of the box. It took me about 15 minutes to unpack and set up the unit.* It comes with oil to lubricate to reduce friction - READ THE MANUAL about how and when to use it, my booklet has age 15 devoted to the section "Lubrication".* feels very sturdy, even right out of the box* 75 pounds makes it easy to move* has 2 incline settings, I've kept it at the default one for a nice gentle mild up-hill feel. Will look into the other setting eventually. :)* 300LB weight limitWhat's not good:* It's a bit louder than I'd have thought, hearing the tread scruff against the metal. Then again, not many treadmills are going to be quiet.* okay, the litty bitty wheels to move the unit with are arguably too small if you have carpeted floors. But the whole unit weighs so little it's ultimately not much of an issue (for most) to carry if needed. What's surprising:* The magnetic resistance feature, even at setting 1, is pretty cool. Higher settings do lead to more stress on the knee, FYI* Documentation for which plug-in goes where for the heart rate and MPH sensors isn't well-defined. But with two heart sensors, one for each handle, it's not too hard to guess which goes where. :)* Width of track is thinner than I'd thought but works for my moderate build.Summary:Obviously one can't become an Olympic runner on any manual treadmill, but for basic fitness and even walking during a rainy day and such, this is a pretty great unit and especially for the price. There's not much to nitpick at all about this unit. It's effortlessly easy to set up, sturdy, one can easily walk 3.5MPH on it for some time, even with the angle. The relative loudness is distracting, but minor. The sturdiness is to be commended, so many models have people saying they're wobbly and rickety.

Better than I expected.
After reading all the reviews about this machine and another one that is identical, I felt sure that when I received the treadmill there would be something negative to say. There is not.I haven't had it long enough to speak of any issues that are time related, but ,so far, I am very pleased. The box was not damaged. Everything inside was well cushioned. The setup was simple. It does not move at all when in use. It is sturdy. And (some reviews spoke of noise) there is nothing coming from the treadmill that is noisy. The only sound is that of my feet coming down, and even that doesn't sound as load as it did on the motorized treadmill that I had. That my be because I am pushing the belt backwards with my foot rather than just dropping my foot and having the belt pull it backwards.

ARRIVED DAMAGED. Not Well Made .
This item arrived damaged! Although easy to assemble you need to be careful when operating it. Despite walking at a steady pace on this treadmill , it would intermittently stick then speed up, which caused me to fall off . At no time can you take your hands off the support bars as you will fall . If it weren’t for the fact that the box it came was severely damaged and that I had to get help from neighbors to carry it up 3 flights of stairs, I would return it ! I will never order equipment like this again from Amazon as it virtually impossible for me to return it. Large items like this are vulnerable to damage in transit and the customer is left with the inconvenience of repackaging it correctly and then dropping it off at a Amazon drop off location with the customer fully responsible for delivering it better than they received it . Not to mention, an item this large wouldn’t fit in my car. Very dissatisfied with this purchase!

Okay But Beware
-First of all, the electronic are scary looking. Haphazardly put together with dried hot glue strings everywhere.-The difference in resistance between level 1 and 8 is minimal. I am ordering a fishing magnet toincrease magnetic resistance.-The wheels for transportation are almost useless. They are too small, making scratching the floor very likely and not smooth to move over carpet.
