Exide Technologies 1050VA Pure Sinewave Home UPS Inverter with Digital Display (Multicolour)

I was very happy with this home UPS inverter. I connected this with150Ah insta Brite battery.Doing well.Pros:1 battery health sensor.2 UPS mode 180V-160V and inverter mode 100V-180V option. Choose it with your convinence. (I preferred inverter mode because usually when raining little high voltage i.e more than 160V will come for long time then it will cut off the mains and runs by battery so I don't prefer UPS mode while using fans and lights)3 pure sine wave.4 Backup in less than a second.5 LED Display.6 Fast charging mode. And Normal charging mode.7 Very silint operation.8 it doesn't make any sound while switching to mains to inverter vice versa.Con:1 Display is tilted towards up so you can not see properly if you place inverter is above to your eyes. So if it is down you can get clear Display.2 Error signs or problems occurr then it makes a huge sounds even your surrounding homes can listen to those beep sound. (Don't panic just look at the battery terminals or water level ect.।)

I purchased this product after a lot of research and even multiple returns, finally I contacted the seller- SINGH AUTO INDUSTRIES and they helped me out with my requirements and the model best suited for me. Even the price was little higher( Rs.50) from this seller, then also I ordered from them just because of there helpful support and fast delivery on request and good packaging on request( I returned 2 inverters purchased from different seller but reached to me in damaged state and had to return that, and thus wasted my almost 25-30days).I purchased 2 Exide 1050 Pure sinewave Inverter one for me and one for my uncle and both are working fine.Now about the Product-Exide gives what they says, this 1050 model is 1050va, and if you check with other brands there model is different from VA rating. for ex. 1100 model is 900va, and 900model number is for 700va, a way to cheat customers as most of the customer misunderstood the model number with VA.Exide is providing Copper coil which is long lasting and with low conversion loss, and at this price range all other brands are providing aluminum coil, and some are not even specifying the material used.It has a good build Quality with digital display.I was previously using Exide inverter( purchased around 7 years ago) and till now it is working fine but due to increase in my loads I had to upgrade.I advice to go for it without any confusion.thanks Exide for this product and thanks Singh Auto Industries for your help and support

Wrost,3 times changed mother board,but still not good working,no doubt excide battery is better,but it's invertor is wrost

Likes: a well designed UPS for home use. Suits a large variation in mains input voltages.Dislikes: 1. The LED panel that show the status is very bright. A press to operate switch could have been provided.2. The mains input voltage is passed on to the output without any regulation - this happens before the UPS switches to battery power.3. When the UPS is supplying battery power, in the event of a short circuit in the load, will there be a fire hazard?

I am wrting this review after using the inverter for few months.from starting, i am noticing voltage fluctuation when main power is not there. I tried to replace the battery and adjust the load to check the fluctuation but none of helped.My recommendation would be to buy the Inverter or any product from the company who have experienced in the technology or have bigger customer space.

After a lot of research I decided to purchase Exide inverter and Exide Gel magic 1500 battery (I have a given a review for that in the product page). I am from Kerala and compared to the prices of inverters in the local market online price was around Rs 2000 less. I had initially ordered luminous zelio inverter through young retailers in eBay, However they failed to ship the product and the seller never replied or attended calls, Thanks to eBay guarantee I was able to get my money back. Compared to that experience, Mr. Abhishek from Maya batteries was such a patient man, He explained and listened to my concerns and doubts very clearly and patiently. He also shipped the product on the day of the order. I really appreciate this seller for that. Now coming to the product, it looks nice with a LCD display which shows State of Battery Voltage and Charge , AC mains input voltage , Display Actual load connected in %, Display overload, Short circuit trip , Battery low trip, AC mains Fuse blown, etc. and it also has LED lights indicating backup mode, charging mode and electrolyte level. Load percentage display is really useful. Switching over from main mode to back up mode and vice versa is very fast and we hardly notice it. I agree with some of the reviews seen online which says it makes some kind of noise. The noise that we hear is of the fan that's inside the inverter and it's not heard continously and you can hear it only if you are like less than 10 meters close to the inverter. It's the same sound that we hear from our desktop CPU. Will keep you guys updated if I face any issues with it. Currently I am completely satisfied with the product.EDIT———The product stopped working by around October 2019. Local Repair Centre said it will cost around 1500 for repairs and there is no guarantee how long it will work, so we exchanged got another inverter. Reduced 2 stars because of early failure of the inverter.
