I am new to all of this and am looking for the best headset under $100 for my son for xbox one. Is this the best option?

Yes by far the best head set for under $100 microphone sounds good and the sound is great but the are the most comfortable head phones I've ever worn. I've spent about 8 hours with them on more than one occasion.
