The 2 times I've used this separator it's leaked. I've check to see if there is a way for me to tighten the seal of the stopper but it leaks regardless defeating its purpose. It's a nice concept just wished it had worked.11/1 - after reaching out to the company about the issues I was having they sent me (free of charge) another unit, which I'm happy to say has been working perfectly. I filled it with tap water right out of the box, no issue. Then hot water from a kettle, no issue. Repeated both steps again after it went through the dish washer, no issues. Very pleased with both the new item and the customer service I received.

I got this just in time for my first roast of the fall season and it was so easy to use! It helped me make the perfect gravy for kids favorite mashed potatoes. I love that it is made of sturdy plastic instead of glass which could easily be broken in our always busy and always crowded kitchen! :) It is super easy to use, just press the red tab and the juice comes quickly out of the bottom. Easy to clean and fits perfectly on top shelf of dishwasher. With the holidays just around the corner, this little kitchen gem will certainly come in handy. If you are looking for something to help you make the perfect gravy - broth - or soup, this product is the way to go!

I have had pancreatitis and any fat can set off an attack. I avoid fats and must be careful when making gravy. I have frozen my drippings just to skim off the fat. This delays our eating especially for special occasions. I decided to try this Gravy Separator. I was concerned if it would be easy to use. I poured in my drippings, let it settle, just about 30 seconds. I then began to press the button which was no problem and the liquid began to run out of the container. As it reached the fat I released the button and nothing else poured out. Clean up was as easy as stated. I am happy with this product.

Works well if the liquid is not very hot. When it is hot or warm, the red arm to the bottom becomes too flexible and does not always unplug the bottom hole. If it were metal and solid, it would work flawlessly. Overall it is worth the money.

Best separator I’ve ever used. Was apprehensive as I’ve always used the kind that pours from a spout from the bottom. Big thing is there is no wasting of broth when you get to the bottom. No compromising with grease getting through. Awesome, wished I had bought one a long time ago. Clean up is easier too.

I loved the product. Easy to use, easy to clean, worked great. The amount of BS with being asked for feedback and for them wanting to give me hints on how to use it were over the top. Just make it stop. It is the only reason I am writing this review is because I bought it a month ago and here we are still being asked about it, wow. Make the noise go away!

I purchased mine at least a year ago and I am very please. Separation is so much better than other models. Great for when you make a chicken or beef stock or gravy. I prefer not to have fat on the top of my soup bowl. This is the only one you will want to use. They say you can use it as a pancake batter dispense, I haven’t tried that yet.

I Only used it once. I Made gravy after slow cooker pot roast Simply emptied crock pot liquid into separator and waited 5 minutes then put 2 cups into saucepan made fat free gravyThen easy to break down and put in dishwasherI don't think you can treat it very rough but price was right
