I am 28 years old, haven't spun a top since the 90s. Gave this a spin on my coffee table and got no less than 6 minutes on my first spin. It's compact, hefty, and well machined. The fused brass and aluminum are elegant together. Very neat to have something that fits in a small pocket, can be given minimal effort, and provides several minutes of enjoyment and suspense. I'll be brining it to work to distract customers while I get all of their items together in the computer. Everyone loves watching a top. Great buy. If you're on the fence, and have a few extra bucks, go for it!

This is a great toy! My wife got it for me for Christmas. I have a concave mirror on which I spin it. I was able to get a 5-min spin nearly right away on the mirror.Experimenting to get more spin time, I wrapped a couple feet of sewing thread around the base of the top, right above the flywheel, and slipped a metal straw over the handle. The metal straw has an inner diameter just slightly larger than the diameter of the handle. Holding the straw vertically and pulling the string, I was able to spin up the top and got just over 10 minutes of spin time on the mirror.The spin surface makes a huge difference.

No matter what i do, i can't get longer spin times than 7 min tops but 5.5 seems to be average. It's not me because can get 13 min in my djuiinostar and I've got a strong spin and i use the Bruce Charles glass. Some people say they get 9 min spins, but i promise the one i got can't break 7 min. That being said, it looks nice and is very steady when it spins with no wobble.

This is my favorite top of my collection. Beautiful mirror finish, perfect size and weight, and fantastic spin times. The very shallow body on this one does make spinning a bit challenging but once you get the hang of it it’s a lovely little top.

The media could not be loaded. We just got this top a couple of days ago, and my kids can't stop playing with it! They've already made a chart of best times and fight over who can spin it next. This top would make a great stocking stuffer or gift for the person that has everything. The quality is amazing- the top is heavy, well made, and stunning to look at! This will be a gift we give often because of its unique quality and the hours of entertainment it will provide.

This was the perfect gift for my husband. Impeccable craftsmanship, smooth to touch and spins beautifully. My husband keeps this on his desk at work. It’s great for those moments of deep thoughts or while he’s stuck on a lengthy call. It is also a conversation starter. I personally love spinning tops and really wanted to keep it for myself and it’s way cooler than the bronze rose my husband gifted me . (Don’t tell him I said that)

This is a really quality product. I have a sizable collection of tops from eBay generics to expensive custom-made tops with exotic metals, and in that large collection this top never manages to gather dust. I just love spinning it so much! It has a simple and elegant design with *excellent* weight. It really is an excellent product, and the polish on the brass is gorgeous. (get the Bruce Charles spinning glass, it's amazing too!)

We've had the top out in our living room with the wooden base and we've had several fun spin competitions with friends and family. It's got a great grip and even as beginners we've gotten some pretty good spin times!
