Great for a youth wrestler with long hair.
I bought this for my 6 yr old daughter to use for wrestling. It’s a little loose, as it is designed for an adult sized head; however, it stays in place very well and I believe that the looseness is what makes this hair cap so easy to put on and take off. I thought that the chin strap on this cap, coupled with the style of her headgear would make it too difficult for her to use by herself, but she handles it with no problem. (We use this with an Asiscs SnapDown headgear). It took me about 5 minutes to attach the cap to her headgear, as her headgear is not easily adjusted; if your headgear has Velcro straps it won’t take any more than a few seconds.Material is thick enough that it should last a few seasons, but quite breathable and moisture wicking.

Works well for my 9 year old granddaughter
It fits my granddaughter she's 9, love it attaches to the headgear in back and the chin strap can go through. Room enough for a braided ponytail to be tucked in.

Okay for BJJ
I have long hair that goes a little beyond shoulder length and I train in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. I bought this cap with hopes of getting my hair out of the way for most of my training sessions. Needless to say in the first week of using this, some parts of my hair would come out, even for light drilling. This becomes a bigger issue when someone is doing side control on me or locks me up in a close guard and sometimes the guy/girl I work with has to adjust when my hair is in the way.**Mind you that I'm not using wrestling head gear over the cap for BJJ.**The cap is also a little small for me to put on, particularly when I put up a bun or top knot first and wear over it, which is why my hair partially comes off. Despite all that, it does do a decent job of preventing it from falling off, unless I'm rolling or training 100% with the guys I work with. It's definitely better than having your hair come off loose after training for a couple minutes, but maybe I just haven't figured out how to keep my hair intact in a bun. These are my initial thoughts, though maybe they'll change if I keep using it.In short (TLDR): Does a decent job of holding my hair in a bun or topknot when I wear over it, even though small hairs would come out

Good at keeping my hair from getting messed up during Judo and BJJ
I regularly have my hair in cornrows, and so it's not the most compatible with grappling training. On their own, they might last 2-3 weeks before they look like they need to be redone, but the friction during training (specifically randori or rolling) can cut that lifetime in half.Wearing this definitely protects the hairstyle. It's not perfect, but it's MUCH better than not having anything. Also, the fact that it goes under the chin means that it won't easily come off like other types of coverings. It could be a little tighter, but otherwise, it's great.
