Get low. This camping-friendly cuddle couch with a lower base means you're not towering over the campfire or blocking anyone's view of the stage AND you're closer to bae. A relaxed, slightly reclined design means you're about to get your fill of chill. Extra points for a durable steel frame, insulated bevvie holders and a roll-tote carry bag.

Abigail and I Love It!
Okay, this is kind of silly, but I bought this chair for my golden retriever, Abigail, and me. On my last camping trip she kept climbing up into my lap when I was sitting in my single camp chair, and it was kind of silly. She's too big! So I bought this. She loves it! (And I do too.) She sits on her side and puts her head in my lap and we are both happy. Who's not happy is Toby, my Yorkshire terrier, because he's decided he's jealous, and there isn't room for him too. I haven't decided what I'm going to do about that yet. Hm-m-m-m......As far as the chair goes, it's excellent! It's very comfortable and very well made. There are two things potential buyers might want to know. 1) It's low, like the name says, so it can be a little hard to climb out of - not bad but you should be aware. It's not as low as a beach chair, but lower than a normal camping chair. 2) It's not a high-back chair, so I can't lay my head back and take a nap. But for sitting by the campfire and reading a book with Abigail by my side, it's awesome! It has a pouch in both arms. The pouches are divided into two parts. I have a tall travel mug for coffee that fits perfectly in the big section. I haven't put anything in the smaller sections. It looks like it would be perfect for a deck of cards, a pack of cigarettes (boo!), or maybe some small treasure a child would want to put there.Like I said, it seems to be very well made. The fabric is thick (double layer?) and seems like it will last a very long time. The frame is very strong and sturdy.I'm very happy with my purchase. So is Abigail. Toby not so much.

Mildew very easily and the screws rusted almost immediately after its first beach trip.
We initially loved the chair and told a lot of friends about the chair. People would fight over it around the campfire. But after a few the chair began to develop spots of mildew. It's gotten much worse over time. None of our other camping gear has had this issue. We reached out to Kelty and they said their warranty wont cover the mildew or rusting hardware. Malinda was very unhelpful and unconcerned about the issue.

So many reasons to replace your 2 camp chair with this one
I really love this. We've had it for a couple weeks to use at the kids' sporting events. It's comfortable, durable, useful, convenient.LIKES:*Easier to pack and carry 1 chair than 2 individual camp chairs.*Being just a touch lower to the ground has 3 benefits. 1) it is more stable and doesn't flip over in the wind, or if you are on uneven ground, or if you need to set down or pick up something on the ground. 2) it is so much more comfortable on the legs because you don't get that cut-off under the knees thing. 3) it can easily fit under the sport umbrella when needed. The seat height is in between a regular camp chair and a "beach chair" = your butt ends up roughly a foot off the ground (more or less depending on your weight of course). We are lower than others who are sitting in regular camp chairs around us, but still plenty high to view the action and be part of the conversations.*Durable and clearly well made.*Drink holder on both arms is large and multi-purposeful. The movable divider nicely holds a water-bottle-sized drink plus a cell phone/keys, or a thermos-sized drink.* Love the wrap-around and 3-buckled carry bag, soooo much easier than stuffing chair in a pouch. Has a single padded strap for carrying it like a sling rather than a backpack. The carry bag unfolds flat and is even useful as a small ground blanket.* In a pinch, it even sits 3...but the middle person does end up sitting on a support bar (my preschooler seems fine with it).* Even if you think you only need one chair, there is ALWAYS someone who appreciates that an extra seat is available.DISLIKES (these are a stretch to even list, but here it goes):*Heavier than the 2 individual cheap camp chairs we used to carry (this package claimed about 18lbs), but this so much better quality it's worth it!* Price is high when compared to say the cost of 2 cheap camp chairs, but you do get a much higher quality and more useful product.

Great Chair
There are a couple of other similar "loveseat" style camping chairs, including a Coleman version at outlet stores which you can usually find for something like $30. Despite that, I feel that this one is way worth the price, particularly on sale.-I'm 5'11" and I can rest my head against the backrest, which some of the loveseat options don't allow you to do-The geometry of the seat means that you're slightly slouched rather than being forced to sit upright, which is greatly appreciated for campfire use and after long hiking days. You're also not tending to slide into each other- which was a problem we had when we sat in the Coleman-The cupholders (which I believe are new for 2019) are actually double slotted. You can either fit in a huge mug, or pop open a divider and have two separate drinks. I actually just use one slot for my Thermacell Radius and the other for my Hydroflask.-The loveseat is far sturdier than some of the other options I've used (Coleman and Timber Ridge). The frame doesn't really bend or give way when you sit (I'm 165 lbs and my wife is 115), and the fabric is nice and thick for a cushioned feel-The carrying case/wrap is actually pretty genius. You fold the chair up, put the legs into the case's "pouch" on one end, and wrap the rest around the chair. Then you snap it together using the pretty nice buckles. The case/wrap is actually surprisingly nice, the side against the chair is pretty soft and the outside is heavy duty nylon, overall it actually feels similar to the chair's fabric. I actually end up using the case/wrap unrolled to cover up coolers and stuff in my car from the sun when the chair is being used. Finally, there are two versions of this seat- the low version and the regular version. I tried the regular version and my wife's feet sort of dangle when she's trying to slouch (5'3") and it wasn't as comfortable to me as the low version, where you actually get to stretch your legs out, slouch, have more freedom to change your position, get closer to the fire while simultaneously avoiding more of the smoke as you sit lower.

Lovely large chair
Lovely comfortable chair and feels very spacious, also has a very slight recline not ridged and upright.I brought to watch kids football matches with room for my children to sit down next to me.Only thing for people with bad knees or who struggle to get up - the seat is very low down and standing up is tricky....It is also not light weight .... but has a comfortable strap so you can carry on shoulder/ back. But itβs very comfortable xI personally love the seat will use in the garden to see family during this long lockdown so we can sit comfortable while drinking gin π€ͺππππ·
