Dee Zee DZ16261 NXc Mounting Bracket

Instructions were easy to follow and I was able to install this and the Dee Zee running boards in about an hour.

I ORDERED BRACE USING YOUR PART NUMBER SELECTOR FOR A 2011 FORD EXPLORER AND RECEIVED BRACE FOR GMC ?? REENTERED INFO AND GOT ANOTHER PART NUMBER???? DEEZEE GIVES YET ANOTHER NUMBER AT THEIR SITE?

Don't know how they manufacture these but they aren't exact. After installing one bracket was not quite level. That said, these are about the best brackets I've seen in terms of strength.

Brackets arrived quickly. Deezee packaging leaves a lot to be desired. Box was within an amazon box and was pretty banged up, no protection for brackets withinthe box either just 6 brackets and several bags of hardware. I'm docking 1 star because the brackets were kinda scuffed and the paint was damaged in a few places, overall they fit and do there job wellOne last note, deezee and amazon both day these won't work on 2014 and newer 4runner limited vehicles. They do fit just fine. My vehicle is a 2016 limited 4runner

The bracket system for Dee Zee running boards are simple to install, and are very strong. Mounted on a 2012 4Runner, and it literally took 30 minutes to install both sides.

The Braces are fine, went on easily and were clearly made for my Gen5 4Runner.The only complaint (and reason I'm deducting a star) was with the manufacturer's poor packaging, that resulted in the finish getting a bit scratched. Some Krylon textured paint in flat black resolved the issue, but I shouldn't have had to do that.

Used these brackets with DZ16203 running boards. Looked at a lot of tubes and running boards, even ordered the 3" step tubes and sent them back as too low and trucky looking. (They were much cheaper and come with the brackets, I thought they looked fine but it's the wife's...) The directions come with a pic of them on the vehicle, not sure why Dee Zee doesn't use them on Amazon. Put these on a '13 shoreline blue limited 4runner as recommended by a 4runner blog. Verified fitment on Dee Zee's website. These have a 1-1 1/4" gap down and stick out 1 5/8" past the tires. Also stick in each wheel well <1/4" The brackets cost you @4" of ground clearance. If they weren't this low, you couldn't put a good portion of your foot on them to use them. If they were higher they would look better but not work as well. These are a nice compromise. The rubber buttons offer good traction and yes, you have to order the brackets separately. The main reason to get these is to save wear and tear on the seats from climbing in and out. Installation was less than an hour at a casual pace. She's happy.
