Dungeons & Dragons Red Dragon Die Keeper

This is way smaller than I expected. The d20 is tiny. I was hoping it could hold any d20.

They look cool, however they just don't let you swap out your own dice in replacement of the one in the photo

Great color and detail. Makes a great shelf or game table conversation piece. The die is not easy to put in or get out of the miniature, so don't expect it to be a dice holder when gaming.

So here is my feeling. When I first found it on Amazon, it was going for $15.99. At that price it seemed like a good deal, but I waited. When I came back a couple days later it was $19.99. Still seemed like an ok deal, and I wanted it. I did not expect a huge figure, as the image shows it to be holding a D20. But I did not expect it to be this small. The D20 that it comes with, is a bit smaller than a standard D20. Which contributes to the mini being smaller than expected. When I try to put my Gold D20 (Or any of the others for that matter), it just too tight to fit. I could try to force it, but it would break in my opinion. So it's not really a D20 holder, as its a Mini, holding a D20. Size wise it's smaller than a regular Reaper Bones Mini. So if I decide to use it in Game, we are talking it would NEED to be a very young Red Dragon. Aside from size, and lack of paint detail. It's pretty cool looking. The Texture of the scales is decent, and it looks menacing. I'm sure I will find a use for it, but it turned out to be a $20 Mini that I will have to invent uses for.

Well, this dragon is a little, plastic guy that probably only cost a penny or two to produce. Still, it works well on this modified, volcano, water fountain (I attached it to the top with Velcro after this pic was taken, looks better there). Most of the available dragons are too large for this display, so, you get what you can get and just make it work, sometimes.

A great addition to my collection, can be used as a dragon miniature and the d20 is smaller then most but is still great.

It’s a cool piece if you’re a fan! Looks great on the shelf or as a small dragon for an encounter.
