Sony for £83 (not instock anywhere I can find) or Neewer NP-FZ100?
When I couldn't find a sony charger for my NP-FZ100 batteries I decided to try this Neewer charger. I don't understand how a 5v usb input can output 8v as it says on the box, but it charges the battery to 100%.I have decided to only charge only 1 battery at a time, because of some of the reviews, plus the difference between the lower input and higher output power (I just didn't get that, plus if I try to charge 2 batteries at the same time would that strain the Neewer charger more), sony's charger does 1 at a time so happy with that.I tested it to see if the Neewer charger is detecting the Sony battery current charge status (for safety) and it seems to do that.An empty battery will charge in 255 minutes, that's 1% per 2.55 minutes so it was easy for me to work out approximately when a battery which needed only a 85% or 67% charge would take to charge to 100%, and its pretty accurate.If you are not in a rush and happy to save the money, I can honestly say it works on my branded Sony batteries. I am only powering it with the USB cable it comes with from my own 5v phone 3 PIN UK AC to usb plug.Hope this helps

This works perfectly to charge my Sony batteries. I use with my usb c charger for my phone.

a great accessory to charge batteries from the car (on the way to a shoot?)
this charger works on third party batteries and sony's own batteries.it has micro usb and c type power input, and can be run off of a wall charger or a computer usb port or as i use it, from the car's usb port so whilst i'm driving between locations i'm charging my spare batteries.

Good value for money
Good value for money , well built , made from light plastic. I would say the best feature is the double input ports , micro usb and type-c 👍. Rubbish cable tho, as usual with all third party chargers.

Seems decent
Although it works it could be better priced. Very simple interface for battery status, which is good in one way but expensive for what it is in my opinion. As long as it stays working I will be happy with it.

Charger is way better than original Sony
Seems to work fine. Bought the Charger with 2x Batteries for less than the cost of one original battery!!Use the kits daily with Sony FX3's ..... No issues . Battery life seems the same as Sony's
