Good color accuracy but to much on the yellow end of the spectrum. Needs to be 4k kelvin
Soraa makes a wonderful violet based crystal that runs through three phosphors (blue, green, red) instead of most LED companies pumping with just a blue crystal base light through just two phosphors (yellow and red).I have three issues with this bulb that would make it much more wonderful so I could use it in all of my fixtures.#1 I prefer a color temperature closer around 4000-kelvin. Soraa makes pro-line bulbs in 4k but no 4k for A19 home users. Many of us I wager desire higher kelvin bulbs.#2 I prefer a bulb that starts at a minimum brightness of 1,000 lumen's.#3 Soraa should tone down the 440 nano meter light waves and tune up the 480 nano meters for human health to more closely mimic the biological effects of sunlight on human biology like BIOS lighting does and Lighting Science. Most of the bulbs I use are either Cree with a lumen of 1,600 or Lighting Science with 1,000 lumens. This Soraa bulb lacks brightness for sure.Pro's about this Soraa bulb are.#1 Good build quality.#2 No flickering ever.#3 Good color accuracy. Meaning no gaps in the green colors or any of the colors. Shows deep reds very well and greens also show well.#4 Reliable under all temperature conditions and last.#5 Pleasing evening/relaxing light (but not a good wake-up morning or mid-day light by themselves)I have been patiently waiting for 2 1/2 years for Soraa's SKY bulbs to be released. Those are suppose to track the sun and move from a 5,000 kelvin temperature throughout the day slowly winding down to below 2,700 kelvin for just before bedtime. For 2 1/2 years they have been saying they are coming soon. Where is Soraa?Following them on twitter is useless. As they will never update you on anything of importance.Soraa has really fumbled the ball by winning awards for a non-existent product while their competition has released their Circadian Rhythm bulbs already.Final Note:I have been using 4, Soraa A19 bulbs. Two of them I have now had for 1 1/2 years with no issues or failures and they are in use many hours a day almost everyday. Good quality. Yes I recommend as long as you are okay with 800 lumen's and a low 2,700 kelvin temperature.I have each of my Soraa bulbs in a double fixture (that allows me to turn on both bulbs or only one at a time) They sit right next to either a Cree or Lighting Science bulb. My Cree bulbs are at 5k and my LS are at 6k. They balance each-other out nicely so I can have both brightness plus a boost in the daylight wavelength of 480 nano meters till evening comes. Then I turn off the Cree's and LS and leave just the Soraa on for the evening's before bed.If ever Soraa releases their SKY bulb line, they will probably be the very best light bulb's in the entire world. They will probably be better then even Seoul Semiconductor SunLike LEDs.

One light bulb works great, one BLINKS on/off
Long story short: I ordered two 2-packs to find two working bulbs. Each set had a bulb that blinked on/off. The other light bulb in the pack was great. Eventually, one of the light bulbs that did blink on/off seemed to stop and work ok. But for such an expensive product, the lights should work out of the box. Mike from customer service basically suggested an Amazon return - they couldn't replace one bulb. I'm not sure if blinking on/off is typical of these bulbs for a "break-In" period, but no mention is made of that in any reviews or info online. Of course, we tried different fixtures to make sure it was the bulb. Fingers crossed, the working bulbs I kept last a while.

Beautiful light quality, low weight, good thermals, but 1 of 10 DOA
Accurate color rendering is important to me at home, so I was very excited to see these LED modules available as A19 bulbs! I've used these to replace ten Cree TW60 93-CRI bulbs in my kitchen, as the Cree lights have shown to have a 2-3 year life before failing and are being warranty-replaced with lower-CRI bulbs. So far I am very pleased with the light quality, and they are substantially lower in weight with good thermal dissipation in open fixtures. My only complaint is that of ten bulbs, one was DOA -- blinking with a one second period. At more than 3x the price of comparable bulbs, I expected better QC. I've requested a warranty replacement.I'm glad to see that these have a 5 year warranty; I hope that they last that long. I'll report back here if there are any problems (and how the warranty replacement goes).

Best LEDBulbs You Can Buy.
These are the best LED bulbs money can buy. Brightness is great, color rendering is near perfect (better than any other LED bulb, look up some reviews if you don't believe me, CNET has a good one). They are expensive, but for something that's going to last 20+ years that you'll use every day, why would you skimp? It's nothing over the long run. One more thing to mention: several people are giving bad reviews saying the GE reveal has better color rendering, which is just wrong. They don't understand the difference between color temperature and color rendering. These have a lower color temperature of 2700K giving them a warmer tone, which by design matches the color temperature of fires and candles that humans have preferred for thousands of years, which is also what the original incandescent was designed to do. Bluer bulbs such as the GE reveal are designed to match sunlight, which can appear more "accurate" but also can affect your sleep cycles (your body want to stay awake when it sees blue light). Blue bulbs like that can be useful for productive places like laundry rooms, but warm bulbs should be used for relaxing areas like living rooms and bedrooms. Hope this helps.

Beautiful, but inconsistent
I care a lot about my lighting. My previous go-to LED bulb was discontinued by the manufacturer some years ago and I was excited to find these, advertising high CRI, R9, and color accuracy.I happily paid the higher price expecting a premium product. When it arrived, I threw one of the bulbs into the floor lamp in my living room and was very impressed. But the second bulb? Might as well be a bargain bin warm white LED bulb.I swapped the bulbs to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks on me, but unfortunately the pair are just completely different. I expect consistency, especially from bulbs that came in the same box.

SORAA light bulbs are top quality
These LED light bulbs are a great size, almost down to the same size as an old-style incandescent bulb, so it will fit in most lamps and fixtures. They produce high quality light and dim without flickering. You get what you pay for.

Beautiful light quality and rated for enclosed fixtures
There aren't many LED's on the market with a high CRI and R9 value AND that are rated for enclosed fixtures! The quality of light produced by these bulbs allowed me to finally leave my incandescents behind. Very pleased!

True color with no glare
I tried one bulb in the overhead light I use for chamber music rehearsals, and everything looked better than with any other light bulb I've tried.Later I bought 4 more bulbs and am equally happy with those.
