Brewster RD0671 Maxwell Textured Vinyl Wallpaper, Paintable

I ordered this to make a very worn trunk pretty again.. I'm goin to pain it and thread it between the boards so the rusted metal doesn't show It is thick and will do very well.

This was perfect. Used to refurbished a dresser in which I glued to the outter drawer and painted over it. Thick material so the glue didn't make it bubble. Very easy to paint over. Can't wait to use it again

Very disappointed in the quality especially for the cost. It claimed to be vinyl but repeatedly tore like paper while trying to apply. I wasn’t even able to finish my project and have to purchase more now because so many pieces tore in the process. I would not recommend this paper.

Very pretty to look at, but so delicate it's almost not useable. The description said this is vinyl - it's not. The papers texture felt more like plaster paper. I was putting this overtop an old board to spruce it up a bit and started with double sided tape. I didn't want permanent adhesion until I knew I liked it. The paper constantly ripped as I was trying to adjust it. I wasn't able to pull it back up off of the tape without tearing. The pattern is somewhat raised, which looks nice from a distance, but is also easily damaged. I'm not sure if painting over the design will help seal the delicate surface, but I don't really care to find out. I couldn't even attach it without damaging it so I don't see a point. Super bummed, I had high hopes for this wallpaper.

I have used textured wallpaper before but it has always been prepasted. I was concerned when I was applying the wallpaper to the wall because I said "oops" quite often when putting this wallpaper up.I did tear it in several places and crinkled it when I was cutting it with a utility knife that had a somewhat dull razor but the torn and crinkled areas were easy to smooth out and very forgiving. I painted it today and it looks great. I can barely see the seams and the torn/crinkled areas are near perfect appearing, it looks very nice.The tearing was my own fault as I let the wallpaper rest too long and it made it slightly fragile. I also used a not so sharp razor to trim at first and then later found a sharp razor for my utility knife which made all the difference.

I just Love these Brewster Paintable wallpapers. B4 I rate this one, many people complain about these papers bubbling up, and bubble they do, but be patient! The next day when it is dried you will be pleased as bubbles go away! This particular pattern is really cute and it looks even better painted and then with another color dry brushed over it to bring out the design. But..if you have goofy walls, this won't do the trick to cover any bumpy flaws as it's thinner than many of the other Brewster designs. Sadly I blew 1 roll and decided to send the other one back. Best to get a sample first, and put it on the wall.

I love my purchase!! It was my first time ever working with wallpaper and applying it on the ceiling so I definitely ran into some frustration. There were so many things I could have done differently to make life smoother but I didn't figure that one out til after everything was done. All in all, my ceiling looks so much better than before, there are definitely some imperfections but I'd rather stare at this new imperfection than what was there before. A great learning experience for sure! Anywho, I ordered one roll too many, contacted the seller for a refund and they took great care of me. Tip, do not buy the glue that's suggested when ordering this, I purchased a gallon from home depot and it worked applied so much better and didn't fall off like the one I ordered from amazon.
