Twister Edge X is an extremely versatile and durable urban skate. Molded boots, anatomical fit and a sole designed with an Anti Torsion Box increase the control. Aluminum plates and lateral sliders are built-in with torsional 243mm frame rigidity, adding power transfer and control. 80mm Hydrogen wheels paired with ILQ-9 bearings provide excellent grip and speed. A v-shape liner provides ventilation, extra cushion and shock-absorbing padding in the heel. The secure closure system includes micro-buckles and lacing; brake is included. Team riders helped create this skate for a superior combination of fit, support and maneuverability.

stylish and wonderful high quality product
these are not comfy street-ware, the skate is designed to keep 4 wheels in a rock solid line while you put your body weight on top of them and jump over curbs, roll over un-even pavement, roll over rocks and twigs and sand and all manner of obstacles. your foot's got to be as close to that platform as possible so you can feel what you're rolling over and not be destabilized by an excess of spongy cushioning. really, are your dress shoes or chuck taylors that much more comfortable? finding the right size is exactly the same as buying any other kind of shoe - size varies over different brands and styles - I opted for a 1/2 size bigger and didn't regret it - they're sized like nikes imo. yes, the buckles at full tight are a little hard to release; yes, the laces are awkwardly positioned and hard to pull snug, but as you ride them, the why makes sense. they're heavy and it takes time to get used to strapping on lead combat boots, yes, but darn if they aren't fun as all heck. Helmet and elbow pads highly recommended [hockey pads superior to any in-line skate accessories]; it's nice to be older so looking cool is no longer the only factor. these replace an old pair of macro blade equipe, gosh I liked those. bought these months ago and finally got on them because all the gyms closed and I started ballooning. so had to relearn how to brake, turn, keep my knees bent and lean forward and after 3 weeks, I feel like I'm not going to fall on my rear every 10 minutes. if you've owned the rollerblade brand before - this is my 3rd pair, they haven't fundamentally changed [I bought my 1st pair from Nordstrom in the late 80s or thereabouts - can't freakin believe that]. great great product - worth getting the hang of.

Stylish skate with design floors
First off these skates are great looking and great quality but they've got some design flaws I can't ignore. I usually where medium width shoes in a size 11.5 to 12, Rollerblade advise getting 1/2-1 size larger than your shoe size so I ordered a 12.5 and its the right size because length wise they're just right. The issue comes when you go to fasten them, they're just too tight. They made the buckles too short so you can only get them on after a using a ton of elbow grease, so much that if you don't train you may not get them on, in fact I can't even fasten the lace buckle because its just too short so in the end I was only able to skate with the ankle buckle is still too tight because its on the last rung.Next the PAIN! Its so damn painful after just 13 minutes of skating around the both ankle areas and the back of the foot. It's so painful that I took them off in freezing cold weather and just walked home with them. I think the issue is that they made them too narrow and the buckle too short to allow more flexibility in fit, had they given longer buckle connectors you could have a more comfortable fit. I just can't fathom why they made the buckle so short because in other models there are extended connectors. I've seen people mention that skates need to be worn in so I tried using them daily from 30-60 mins but the pain started after 13th minute each and every time.I'm gutted because they look great but I can't use them beyond the 20 minute mark (yes I grin and bear it for 7 minutes) hence the low rating.
