My stock master cylinder was leaking break fluid so I bought this and installed myself I bled the breaks after and it works great only complaint I have is the sensor in the lid did not function the break light stayed on because of this but I put my factory lid on and it fixed my issue so it worked out for me

I purchased and installed one of these master cylinders in April 2024, everything was good, today, around 6 months later, I notice my brake light in my dash is on, weird. I check the level and it’s low in the reservoir. Curious. So I check all of the lines and bleeders. All dry. So I go back under the hood and notice that my brake booster is wet. Joy. 6 months of driving for $40 bucks? That is not worth it.

Bought this for my older model Honda Civic thinking this was the problem I was which supposedly turned out to be the brake booster. But so far it’s doing the job of stopping the car. So for now no complaints. lol

It's a direct fit but keep your original master cylinder cap because this one comes with the wrong plugs.
