These are super convenient if you just want a quick cleaning cycle for your Nespresso Original.Just pop one in, run 2 Lungos through it, remove it, run 2 more Lungos through it to rinse.Note that these are NOT a descaler, just a cleaner. They should reset the flavor (so you might want to use them if you're going from flavored pods to non-flavored pods, or if you've been doing super dark/smoky pods to lighter pods).

I called Nespresso because my Pixie was overfilling the drip tray. Nespresso said I needed to descale. I was skeptical because we don’t have hard water. They had me clean the nozzle with a paper clip. I also went through 6 Nespresso descaling kits. The problem was an accumulation of coffee grounds clogging the nozzle. These capsules worked great! I got lots of coffee flakes out. The capsules cleaned the right portion of the machine.

These capsules + using purified filtered water keep my machine in new condition. I have never had to use the descaler, even after 2 years! Excellent way to keep the aroma and taste of my coffee at its best!

I purchased these on a whim since I use a Nespresso daily since working from home. Some of the advertising was around how it would make my coffee taste better and is better for the machine. I don't notice a difference whatsoever. I am sure it did help clean, and I probably won't buy these again.

Have had Nespresso for a year and never cleaned it. These pods work great. The water that came out was light brown with a few coffee grounds.Definitely recommend
