Great overall product. Be careful trying to widen them to fit your thumb
It’s plastic so expectedly if you mess with the width too much or too fast they will snap on you. Slight curvature of the pick can also make the upswing strum a bit tricky to get down (perhaps better to just stick to fingers here)Luckily this company gives you several picks to work with in case you break one. Overall it’s a staggering improvement in sensation for a low cost

Where are the X-Large?
I love these thumb picks. I just wish Dunlop made an X-Large size. My thumbs are not huge but after a short while of wearing the large size, my thumb tip gets pinched. Does anyone know of a company that makes an X-Large thumb pick?

Excellent quality, my 3rd order.
I've order a few sets of Jim Dunlap brand picks. With my fat fingers, sometimes even the large picks don't fit, but these can be easily resized by dropping them in a cup of hot water (not scalding) and form shaped to your thumb, then cool water run over them while you are wearing it. Important note: Do not put the pick in a cup of water and then into the microwave. The logo is foil and will spark and burn if microwaved, heat the water separately and then drop the pick into. Make sure neither is too hot to cause burns before trying to resize to fit your own thumb. On that note, I've worn these out from many hours of playing, but so far I've not broken a single one. I would guess if you try to force a fit on your own fat thumb without warming them it could be done, but they usually will just cut off the blood supply if too tight.

Fit Them Properly With Hot Water
These are great picks but it would be useful if they actually came with instructions. To make these fit your thumb properly get two small bowls, fill one with cold water and one with hot water* (not boiling).Place the thumb pick into the bowl of hot water for around 15 seconds, fish it out with a spoon and tap off the excess water. Carefully mould the pick around your thumb and then plunge it into the bowl of cold water for about 20 seconds.* Be careful not to burn yourself on the hot water.

Cool little thing
It's a cool way to play some songs. I did have the put the picks in hot water first and then bent them outwards a bit since they were way too tight. Yeah it's a cool little item to use instead of a pick, but still feels much alike a pick when you get used to it.

comfortable and works well
This is a pack of 4 thumb picks.I chose large and they fit me well and feel quite comfortable. They are quite thick and so they have quite a strong sound against the strings which is great on the 13s that I am usingIf you find them tight you can soak them in hot water and stretch them gently to fit.Good quality and Recommended

Bought 4, got 8
Had one of these for a while, but thought I'd get a spare in case it got lost. Pack of 4 was easier to find and better value than singles. Ordered the pack of large, but Amazon sent a pack of mediums. Quick response to my complaint and a pack of large sent as an addition to "keep the originals" - better value than planned! FYI: for my thumb at least, the large is comfortable and the medium is usable, while the large has a deeper bite into the strings than the medium.

They "fit" my thumb, but rotate and become unstable ...
They "fit" my thumb, but rotate and become unstable as you play - the wrap around portion below the bottom edge of the "D" of Dunlop is too wide. I will have to file away the bottom edge of the plastic here so that this bottom edge lodges on the side of the thumb nail edge where it meets the flesh of the quick. I've tried medium size thumb picks, but they are too tight/uncomfortable. At least I have 4 picks to try out a customized fit.
