My Go-To Hair Color for Long-Lasting Vibrancy
I’ve been using L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference for a while now, and it’s definitely my favorite hair dye. The color stays vibrant much longer than other brands I’ve tried — even after several washes, it still looks fresh and shiny. The formula is gentle on my hair and doesn’t leave it feeling dry or damaged. Plus, the application is easy, and the scent isn’t overwhelming like some other dyes. I love how it gives me rich, luminous color that really brightens up my look.If you want a reliable hair dye that keeps your color glowing, I highly recommend this one!

Grade Shade!
This is a great color selection. Pretty blonde but not too intense. Very easy to apply and no foul odor. Also after rinsing and applying the conditioning treatment, it leaves your hair with a very pleasant scent. There is no remaining chemical odor left behind.

Easy to use!
I love this color! It came out exactly as expected, looks vibrant and shiny, and the fade-resistant formula really keeps it looking fresh for weeks.

My hair looks great and I’m a fan for a first time user.
Easy to mix together and the conditioner it comes with is nice to use after the dying process. I have my hair past my shoulders it’s curly. So I usually use a lot. So I thought. I put together two boxes and really only used one.The instructions told you to do your roots first, wait then apply to your ends. That’s different from my years of box hair color. Worked so well. My previous service of Beyelage and grays were all covered up and evenly matched. It did come out darker than I expected, still looks nice. I just wanted it a couple of shades lighter.I would go a shade lighter if I did it again. I think that’s just preference though. Worth the buy

My hero!
I searched and searched for hair color as close to my natural color as possible and without ammonia. L'Oreal to the rescue! This gives me a natural looking tone, and the conditioner that comes with it is amazing. I get a deautiful glow and softness and no tangles. I highly recommend this product. As you can see in the 2 photos, this is a close match for my natural color. Young me at 22; older me at 60+.

Perfection! Super easy too... 😀
Pics added... in 2 different types of lighting and during application. 😀Color: (Preference LB02)I've gone to numerous salons in OC California and paid upwards of $400+ to have my thick, long hair colored. (I'm naturally med brown but now with the oh-so-wonderful (not) greys). I was NEVER happy with how I looked when I left the salon which frustrated me considering the money and time spent there. This went on for several years and I just accepted it as having difficult hair or whatever. I would try a new, more expensive salon and would end up with fairly similar results. They weren’t horrible, just not what I was wanting. I ALWAYS had a photo of what I wanted and was clear in my request so, in retrospect, I'm not sure why it was so unachievable for so many years and so many colorists. My colorists tried to explain after the fact why it wasn't exactly like the photo but ... honestly, shouldn't they have known that BEFORE doing it and charging me $400? I just didn't get it... This all changed when I met someone with the exact color I was wanting. She said she used this exact drug-store hair color and described her original color as med brown with grey so I had to try it! I was so nervous but wasn't happy with what I had found in the top salons in SoCal so I tried it... OH MY GOODNESS I was amazed at the results!!! Not only was it closer to the color I had always described and requested but my hair was super soft and healthy following the color process!! I've now been using this color for several years and it's seriously the best thing I've found.I recently went for a trim and blowout at a higher end salon and a woman brought a box of color into the salon and asked if the stylist wouldn't mind using it instead of their usual color... my stylist rolled her eyes and whispered ,"oh my god that's so tacky - that junk will just fry her hair and then we will have to fix it " I looked closer at the box and saw " preference" on it... same as what I use!). Her stylist tried to explain why their (much more expensive) products were so much better... the customer (who, incidentally, was well dressed and carrying a Chanel bag) said she just liked the look and feel of her hair better with the preference... which is EXACTLY how I feel! I have the money to spend on what works best so that's not the issue. It just so happens that this extremely inexpensive color is what's best after years and years of disappointing salon visits... and thousands of dollars wasted in the salon! When I left the salon that day I mentioned that I use the same thing and feel the exact same way as the other customer... I'm sure my stylist was a little embarrassed that she had whispered how tacky of a request it was and her attitude was reflected in my gratuity.I understand that the improved quality of home hair color has most likely had a huge impact on the income potential of hair-colorists so now I understand why they reacted that way the day the woman walked in... but it's also the exact reason I was so afraid to use it in the beginning as well and I wish I had used it years sooner.So... if you're on the fence, try it! Do a patch test underneath to see how it turns out before continuing with the entire head... if you like the look and feel of the test patch then continue with the rest!It honestly couldn't be easier. I use it every few weeks at the roots and bring it to the ends for a color refresh at the end of the processing time while I'm doing my nails and on the computer! I've had several people ask me where I get my hair done and I'm always honest and tell them...

Is what it says and appears from box picture.
Color is consistent with photo on box. Fairly easy and somewhat quick (25 min) process how to use is spelled out quite clearly on a pamphlet which is also where you will find a pair of gloves to prevent your hands from getting stained. Color (for me) lasted approx. 3 months, however, if you swim....it may only last a few days to a couple weeks.☆TIP☆: if you do get the hair color stained on your hands, or ears, etc...A cotton ball with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol on it will remove it Easy-Peasy Darla.

Great value
Great value for the money, but these are still harsh chemicals. I don't recommend using box hair dye often at all, just in case of emergencies. It will come with the applicator, the activator, and the conditioner. It's very easy to mix, and use. But again it does have a strong ammonia smell.Follow the directions, and use your judgment as to how long you'll leave this on. Out of all the box hair dyes, I would have to say this is probably one of my favorites, but it is still in a box. This is not a quality salon products, so remember that.
