Easy to use and it works
Easy to use, pretty comfortable, and kept my sprained knee in proper position for a couple of weeks so it could heal. The only discomfort is if you don’t position the straps correctly, as the Velcro will be a bit scratchy. But that’s an easy fix. This brace was well worth the money.

Worth the $
I had an MRI and my doctor recommended a full knee replacement. At the time I was walking 2 miles every other day and noticed my right knee would be swollen but went down the next day. I have to wait until next year to get my knee fixed. So, in the meantime, I wear this wrap for peace of mind. This wrap only has two velcro straps and has a hinge support on each side, which adds strength. I replaced a wrap that had 4 straps. The 2 smaller straps would catch on my excersize shorts and come off. Annoying. This wrap is easy to put on and stays in place while I'm walking in the house and outside. I don't walk long distances anymore or run, so I don't know how it will hold up in those instances. But I do alot of stuff and it stays in place and was inexpensive

ACL tear/favorite knee brace so far
I tore my ACL completely 4 months ago and chose this brace off the pharmacy shelf, and since then I have bought several more from Amazon. So far, it is the best brace I have found as I pursue conservative rehab instead of a surgical ACL repair — and that includes the huge expensive one I was given by the orthopedic surgeon. As my knee improves in stability I have tried other smaller braces (including from this same brand) but they just don’t fit as well—I find this one to sometimes be slidy, but not that much, and that includes running with it as I return to activity. I really like being able to take the brace off and on and adjust it at will depending on what pants I am wearing (I wear it on the outside — I am not sure how well it would work under pants bc of the metal hinges). So for me, it’s a much better option than a sleeve, even if my knee no longer quite needs all the extra stability of the hinges (which do come out, but I find the brace does not fit as well without them). I also appreciate that the L/XL really does fit my larger, athletic leg—other braces I have tried marked that size are just too small. My only complaint about this brace is that daily use does wear out the velcro pretty fast. But I am really not sure what the company could do about this, because that is just the nature of velcro. I have returned the brace and gotten a refund when the velcro has failed within it, because that seems only fair, but so far so good with my latest one. I would say my average length of use before velcro failure when it goes beyond the return window is about 2 months, and at this price point (and it is often on sale), I guess I think that’s ok. As someone who may always need to have a brace around, I wish these came in other colors, but then again, I suppose I could always amuse myself by decorating it….anyway, my point is, if you need a knee brace you might as well give this one a try.

Good support
Good knee brace for complex meniscus tear and 20% hyper extension. Gives me some peace of mind as well as support for my ongoing knee issues.

Runs small, regardless of measurements.
I put this on an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of printer paper for size reference. First, the gel "donut" is only half, not all the way around. The other brace I bought from a different brand has a full circle of padding. The straps and Velcro are sturdy but one side is very, very short. There is no give to the straps at all which is good for support but the long strap also attaches to a very small area of Velcro, so I'm not sure how there is a "range" of sizes listed. The other brace (from a different brand) that I purchased based on the measurements, according to the directions, fit me perfectly. This is too small (and although the metal hinges are in the SM/M pocket, I did have them in the LG/XL pocket when I tried them, so that is not the issue). This item CANNOT BE RETURNED. My bad, I guess for not paying attention to the return policy. I thought it was an Amazon Prime item. Second, if this is NOT a returnable item, then I would love to know why the one that I received had CLEARLY BEEN OPENED BY SOMEONE ELSE, YET SOLD AS NEW. The clear security tape had been removed and was folded over the plastic packaging. This was NOT NEW, though it is not dirty, so hard to tell if it has been worn before. My guess is that someone else had the same experience that I did but was somehow able to return theirs. I try to buy items manufactured in the USA, when available. The item seems sturdy but is very poorly designed. This was a disappointment in the inaccurate sizing and a used item sold as new.
