We use this for emergencies or training with our ferrets. I know it isn't healthy for them (sugar), but it is a tasty reward on rare occasions (besides salmon oil...another treat). Since some ferrets are prone to insulinomas, we keep a tube in case someone looks unwell/low sugar. So far, our 3 girls (age 5) are all pretty healthy. We always have one tube on hand in our ferret emergency box.

My ferrets go crazy over this stuff! They would eat the whole tube if I let them. Smells sweet almost like prunes. It is very thick and sticky but my ferrets loved it

My ferrets will do whatever I expect of them just for the chance that they will get a lick of "candy".I know it's not the best for them, but they don't live long anyway.Your furbabies deserve this!

I went to open this and the product is completely hard and dried up in the sealed tube. My ferret loves this product but i have had several times where this has happened. It’s a huge waste of money. each time. The product inconsistency is a big issue. I have tried warming the tube in hot water but it didn’t work. One tube is super runny and the next is dry and hard.

My FattyDuke was limp& unresponsive, he has adrenal disease and he's old, so every day is a blessing to have him remain in my life, he's normally active & alert but 2 days ago he was seemingly on the way out. I tried syringe feeding him duk soup& spring water, he wouldn't take it. I put a pea sized amount of this in his mouth and he swallowed it. Within an out my boy was back, alive, alert& had energy. I'm so grateful! He's so precious to my soul!
