Best fly mask. Period.
Plenty of room near eyes. Effectively keeps flies off and biting insects out of my horse’s ears, thus keeping him calmer. Get the one with ears-do your horse a favor. The style with extended nose is nice, but it blocks my small horse’s nostrils so I use this style. Take measurements first and check their chart for the best fit. I have used this brand for years and the quality has been consistent.

The only fly mask I’ll buy
I won’t use any other fly mask. The quality is great, it functions like it’s supposed to, keeps flies out of my horse’s ears and protect his face from bug bites. And it’s soft enough that my horse doesn’t try and ditch it at every chance he can. I wish there were different colors, but I have enough of these that it should last me a few summers.

Love these fly masks !
By far my favorite fly masks. I love this mask. It has stood up against some tough wear! The previous one I had is still working but it was time to get a fresh one. They fit my chunky quarter horses head well but also fits my other normal sized horses head. Fit great, don't rub them and they seem comfortable in them as they never try to take it off

Great product for fly season
I have used the Cashel Crusader Fly Mask for at least 8 years.I have never had a problem with them staying on , they wash well , they keep the flies out , my horse is always willing to put her head down for her fly mask .I get a least two seasons out my fly masks . They stay soft and supple (even after being in the mud and stand up to a lot of abuse) .I have used several brands over the years , and found the Cashel Crusader to out perform the others by far . Worth the cost .I have used the Cashel Crusader for both Quarter Horses and Arabians and the sizing is excellent .

Great fly mask
Great fly mask , I wish they had the long nose in stock as it works better , but this will have to do . The flies in Massachusetts are the size of hummingbirds honestly and ripping my boy apart ! Great quality ! A bit pricey however for what it is .

Good fit with minor adjustment.
I have bought several of these for our two horses, one with the muzzle cover for my pink-muzzled Paint mare and this mask for my other mare. I like how this brand fits over other brands with the placement for the eyes just right. The only thing I didn't like about this mask (which wasn't the case with the identical mask with the muzzle cover) was that the velcro jaw strap was extremely long, causing the mask to fit too loosely and my mare to easily strip it off. I simply cut down the velcro and it now fits beautifully. My mare is fairly large-headed so I'm surprised that the velcro strap comes with so much length. But an easy fix. The only downside to these masks that I've found (now owning four of them) is that the fabric that constructs the ears is fairly easy to tear and quickly develops snags and small holes. I just plan on buying one or two each season per horse as these fit better than other masks I've tried. Will continue to buy each summer season.

Stays on!
The first stayed on perfectly( so far) so I got a second one to replace a different horses fly mask that wouldn't stay on. I had relatively low expectations that that would happen, since our 2 horses seem to be professionals at getting their masks off. The different sizes help a lot. We'll worth it, so far.

Perfect!
The “heavier” (vs. stretch pull-on ones) fly mask I bought a few months ago got pretty much torn apart. My horse kept rubbing it on the rough hewn fence that surrounded his paddock. I put this one on him yesterday, so cannot comment on durability. However, it seems more substantial in construction and material used. Plus it has an opening for hair, which the other one didn’t. I far prefer this design. The fit is very good, maybe just a tiny but large. I bought horse size for my 5 hand 3 “ QH gelding. Would definitely purchase again.
