Very impressive for 100w
Yes, I recommend this light. Details below, but if not,its Very bright and my plants love it. I was that impressed with it i bought two of the bigger sf2000! 5/5 love this wee light. This light is great for 100w,it runs cool and takes up little to no hang space. Connections, powercable, plug, and driver are all good quaility. It is truly full specturm as my plants are short, with very thick stems, big leaves and dense foilage. The plants aren't streching for light as they are getting the full blue they need. The leaves are big and the lower/under growth is prolific (enough to rival MH lights let alone CFLs.) Meaning they are getting a decent amount of red in there too.(i have yet to fruit/flower but as most recent studies suggest, blue is just as important as red in flower for full expression of the plants traits, spicier peppers, more flavourful tomatoes etc) The addition of an Infra Red LED shows they have put some thought into the make up of the diodes. (this is why i bought the sf2000 aswell as it has two of these IR diodes) Im intrested to see if the fact that it doesn't have any UV specific diodes will be a detriment or loss , but as it dose have some UV by the very fact its light from 'white' LEDs i shouldnt see to many issues. Just certainly not as much UV A B or C as a HID,which is safer for your eyes I guess.Spider Farmer have really good customer service aswell. They answered all my emails within 24hrs and were happy to help. Really nice to see that from an Amazon listing. It also came with racket hangers and some plant labels, which is nice. makes it more a complete light system. Some points to consider are, the cable/lead is not the longest, about 1.5-2m if I can remember. You will need and extension cable close if you are hanging it high(above large pots in a hydroponic system, far away from a power source in a polytunnel for example)The silicon protection over the face of the board is tacky/sticky and fragile..it should be treated as a bulb would be in a HID or CFL light. Dont touch it or rub it , it will peel. Raise it if you have to work under it.Other than that, it is a really good light and its worked flawlessly so far. It has a warranty for peace of mind. Anyway, yes, I recommend this grow light.

A wonderful LED light for plants
I had been wanting an LED light for my plants for a long time. This behemoth certainly does the job with gusto. It is a powerful beast that you don't want to stare directly into unless you want temporary blindness or streaks across your eyes for a long time. It is that strong. They give you a cable to attach it to, even a measuring tape to make sure it is evenly spaced wherever you decide to put it. It comes with everything you need to set it up accept securing hooks for the wall itself. But that's to be expected. This is meant to be an overhead hanging light. Sure you can set it up another way, but if you want to use it most efficiently hang this puppy over your plants. They give you a cable to attach it to, even a measuring tape to make sure it is evenly spaced wherever you decide to put it. I'm really excited to start using this 8-10 hours a day to see just how much impact it can have on my plants. So far it has definitely helped maintain my herbs which would've already died in the current wintery conditions.Much love for this wonderful light!

FANTASTIC LIGHT!!!
I like the warmth and light intensity from this product, it has a great coverage area too, and nice and adjustable dimmer for the ballast, producing nice dense buds and a great spectrum of lights for the plants it keeps cool, runs great, and its very very bright, you'll need sunglasses on under this light for sure, the thickness of the board is great very sturdy and strong, not cheap in the slightest. Quite a heavy product too which shows its quality 👌 my plants loved it highly reccomend this light to anyone with a 3z3 or 2x2 tent

It's actually as described
Used for a couple of weeks now and my plants and me are very happy with it. I can only confirm the avertised points:- No noise! This is a big plus for me or anyone who values a quiet environment.- Low power consumption. Electricity bill says thanks and the light output is off the charts compared to other lights judging from the growth of the plants.- Small heat production. Should dissipate easy in a normal ventilated space.- Nice overall light color. Personally I find the purple ugly, this one appears like sunlight; white with a bit yellow. Allows you to inspect the leaves better as they look actually green.- Good production quality. Waterproofed electronics, lightweight and solid assembly.- Friendly support. Comes with a nice little manual and some tips. One little nitpick: dimming the lights require you to literally screw around with the device and isn't as easy as you'd think. I don't care about this and didn't plan to dim them at any point, so no points deducted.

Fantastic low price light - requires additional heat sinks in my opinion.
Great product and arrives in a box with everything you need to install and get going. This light works fantastically well in my small grow tent and after swapping it out with my 10 year old UFO led light there was an immediate and very noticeable up tick in the growth and happiness of my plants. As you can see from my picture I added some heat-sinks to the aluminium back plate. Although nice and silent with its passive cooling aluminium back plate it does run hot. I purchased aluminium heat sinks for around £20 and added them to the power-pack/driver and the back plate. The light now runs much much cooler and should last longer - I would even recommend adding more than I did.
