Garnier SkinActive 24H Moisture Cream with Rose Water and Hyaluronic Acid is an amazing value, plus it feels and smells heavenly. I'm in my 50s and often in need of a little moisture and skin plumbing. Yet my skin still tends to be oily and prone to breakouts, so water creams (non-oil and non-cream-based) are a life-saver for me. It's lightweight, feels cool, soothing, and silky, and glides on easily so a dime-sized blob is enough for my face, neck, and chest. I use retinol serum at night and a copper peptides serum and sunscreen during the day, plus niacinamide and hyaluronic acid serums, so I use this only for moisturizing as needed. There are other water-based creams of similar price and quality, but I'm addicted to this stuff because of how lovely and silky it feels and also because of the light, delicate, faintly-herbal rose water scent. It doesn't smack you upside the head screaming ROSES like so many other rose water products do. Nor does it smell cloyingly sweet. It just delivers the skin-friendly benefits of rosewater (for toning and tightening) with just a hint of roses that I could inhale all day, and I'm usually a lavender kinda gal. Also, Garnier doesn't test on animals which is nice.

This moisturizing cream is fantastic. I don't know what it is, but my skin feels really wonderful and looks better. I feel it when I touch my face right after using, and also the next morning. I'm not sure what it is, if it's this or theRoC Daily Resurfacing Facial Disks I got at the same time. (I'll also review those) I'm using these two new products together, and my skin is softer and brighter.There is a scent to this, but it's very light and really pleasant. I say that as someone who's extremely sensitive to scent. In fact, I had to return the Neutrogena Triple Age Repair Anti-Aging Face Moisturizer (full name-with SPF 25 Sunscreen & Vitamin C, Dark Spot Remover & Firming Face & Neck Cream with Glycerin & Shea Butter) because it was sooo scented, and that scent just didn't fade. I was inundated with it for hours. Finally washed it off. I really don't care how well a moisturizer works if I can't stomach the scent.This Garnier moisturizer goes on light and smooth. It sinks in well. It does not feel sticky. It is not oily. It moisturizes beautifully. You don't need tons of it, use sparingly so the jar will last a long time. You can use it daily.Try it and do double-takes when you pass a mirror.

I'm surprised how luxurious this water cream feels! I would even say it's comparable to expensive moisturizers like the Peter Thomas Roth hyaluronic cloud cream. It is wonderfully lightweight and refreshing. I wish it didn't have a fragrance because I do have sensitive skin, but it's not too overpowering.

Let me start off by saying this moisturizer smells AMAZING. It's fresh, floral, and not overbearing.I have used a water-based moisturizer before and it left me feeling greasy and nasty. I was hesitant to try this product but I love Garnier's hair products so I took a chance. AND I'M SO GLAD I DID!Less is more, y'all. I'm used to using at least 2 pumps of lotion and maybe more sense my face is combination oily/dry. For this moisturizer I use between a pump and a pump and a half. If you use too much, it WILL look greasy, but not really feel like it. I dab on my forehead, cheeks, and nose, then I rub it in on my entire face and neck.Y'all. My face feels and looks amazing. It looks shiny, but it's more of a healthy glow. I've used this product for 3 weeks now and I can't ever think I'll switch unless this product disappears. It feels light and for the first time in my life I feel like I can slather foundation on my skin and not have flakiness. THAT is an amazing feat for someone with skin like me.

This moisturizer has a VERY light floral-y scent that dissipates quickly and glides on very nicely (probably due to the dimethicone). I don't think it jived well with my skin, so I probably will not be repurchasing. Though it didn't work for my skin, I think it still deserves a 5 star review for it's formulation, scent and moisturizing properties. I did not experience any sort or burning or akin irritation while using this moisturizer. It leaves a slight tacky feeling, again, probably because of the dimethicone. However, that feeling goes away after a lil while. It also makes for a great makeup primer! I feel this is a great product, but it's just not for me. For the price it's worth giving it a go. I am OBSESSED with the scent of this company's related face wash product, "Garnier SkinActive Milk Face Wash with Rose Water". I purchased this moisturizer hoping it would smell the same, but it does not. The scent on this product is different, and such a light scent that it's hardly noticeable.While disappointing because I hoped for the face wash scent, a very mild scent isn't a deal break for moisturizer or anything! So I used the whole jar, hoping I would like it and I could switch to this from my current (expensive) moisturizer: Clinique Moisture Surge. Unfortunately, I didn't like it enough to switch. Compared with Clinique's moisture surge, this product feels greasier on my face and did not absorb as quickly. It did feel moisturizing, but it was heavy, almost like I could feel the product sitting on my face for several hours.For the price point, the quality totally makes sense, and it does it's moisturizing job. It's just not the silky smooth application I was looking for.
