nothing can repair damaged tips but it makes the hair oily and it hydrates the hair and it saves you from damaging the hair more

Yes, as your hair starts to grow after the 3-4 months mark you notice your roots coming a little more wavy than the rest of your hair. I highly recommend the ‘Keratin forte’ better than this one. This one is too mild for me even that my hair is not that curly. Loved the shampoo and conditioner.

Q: After you put this treatment in your hair, can you still get volume in the crown area? Or does it tend to flatten hair?

It will flatten your hair considerably, crown and all over, especially if you have fine hair like I do. It takes about 2 months to get some volume back. That's the trade-off, no frizzies but flat hair. I still love it though.

Q: will the clarifying shampoo change the color of my highlights

It's possible that the clarifying shampoo will change the color of your highlights. I use the system (I love it) but it has lightened (just a bit) my colored and highlighted hair. I'm not sure if it's the clarifying shampoo or the formaldehyde that's in the straightening mixture.
