Does the sheath dull the knife ?

It appears that after taking the knife out of the sheath a number of times, the black finish has become slightly scuffed on the FLAT part of the blade. I'm guessing this is because of the plastic securing ramps on the sheath. However, the edge itself seems perfectly fine and hasn't dulled at all.
