They are the normal socket depth for the socket wrench, ranging from 1/4" deep to 1/2" deep depending on the size of the socket.

This is spot on for anyone doing basic mechanics. Got it to remove the callipers on my Triumph and they are spot on. Might not be snap-on but I'm no mechanic either. They aren't lose on the wrench either. Good fit and seem well made.
