CRUSH12 12-Watt Guitar Amp Combo

Got this amp a while ago as a practice amp instead of firing up the 100 watt Fender Frontman amp just to noodle a bit in my room by myself (the amp goes from too low to too loud in that kind of environment, it really is made to be played with a full band) and I absolutely love it. I've even been using this amp for recording instead of the Fender. No knock on the Fender, some of that is just because it's easier to set up this amp than the heavy beast that the Fender is (I don't have a ton of room where I live right now so I can't keep it set up like I once used to when I was in a bigger place). But also the Orange amp's tone really is great, both clean and distortion. Though I do normally use pedals for distortion. The Orange is versatile and works for straight up rockin' or for stacking effects. For 12 watts, you can get this thing pretty loud. Even having the volume knob at 9 'o clock is a little too loud for just playing in a small room on it's own. This has basically become my main amp as I'm not gigging or anything at the moment, and it really is saying something because I love my Fender Frontman.

this is a crazy little workhorse...gets plenty loud with a nice amount of grit...very Brit sounding...works well with pedals...highly recommended

Perfect small room practice amp with great response, even with an extended-range guitar (8 string for me). Just using it when playing with acoustic players and for practicing when I need a lower volume. Don't misinterpret that comment, it will put out volume and the overdrive and gain even sounds pretty good too.The box is was shipped in got crushed but the packaging looked undamaged so it didn't bother me much. Didn't seem to affect the amp at all.

Fantastic for small spaces or recording. The sound quality is exemplary. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any effects built in. I’m still super satisfied with the quality of this piece.

Orange can't possibly be making any money on this amp. This has got to be a purely marketing investment. I've owned and played through a number of amps over the years and this is hands-down the best sounding amp I've ever played through.. and it's TINY! What in the world do they put in it??? Maybe every amp I've owned or used has just been total junk, by chance. But this thing sounds so full and articulate. And for $100, if you don't happen to get one that sounds as good as mine, dear reader, it doesn't even matter! Don't hesitate. This is a winner.

I bought this amp to serve as my son's first amp to go with his electric guitar. After doing some research on entry level amps I decided to go with this Orange model. I found that nearly all reviews of this amp were positive.I received the amp and decided to open the box just to make sure nothing was damaged. After verifying everything was fine I decided to power it on and give it a try. The first thing I noticed was how rich and powerful the distortion was for such a small amp. The variety of tone adjustments are great to tailor your sound as well. From hard rock/metal to clean and everything in between, this Orange CRUSH 12 amp delivers!

Most amps of this size are all about the same but this one is really loud...much louder than the other brands. The overdrive sounds awesome. All the pots are smooth, the jacks are solid and have zero issues. Excellent value. I use this as a bedroom amplifier and plug in the headphones at night. In addition, the separate overdrive and gain controls expand your ability to make your presence known. It also comes with convenient headphone jack for private playing or for line out capabilities. Excellent little amplifier from a long tenured maker. It truly lives up to it's name with it's power to truly "crush" it.
