Fu FannBlack Sesame Paste Spread, 8.8 Oz

I had been looking for a black sesame paste to make some mochi with black sesame center and this paste just with the right amount of sweetness to me. It save me time to make my own. It is also good on just a slice of bread and use it as nut butter as well.

Super tasty on toast! Great for breakfast or just a snack! The black sesame flavor is strong and slightly sweet. I bought one for me and my dad because we both love black sesame! So far I’ve only had it on toast so I’m not sure what else it would be good on. Once I run out, I’ll definitely be buying another one!

This tasted like straight up wax. It's terrible. I love all things black sesame and this is just not it :(

I should have checked that this was made with a TON of canola and palm oil, because it tastes like bland, processed oil with a little bit of sesame flavor. It's trying to be like the sesame version of nutella spread, but it doesn't have much flavor (I'm pretty sure nutella has a lot of not great ingredients in it too). I'm very disappointed with my purchase since it's unusable to cook with :(

I bought this for making noodles, but it's way too sweet. They conveniently never mentioned anywhere that it was actually sweet, not a paste for cooking. The ingredients are not shown in the description. The paste/ spread name is confusing.

I wanted black sesame paste but this is more like a ready made black sesame dessert filling that is sweet and aside from appearing like sesame paste didn’t taste like anything
