A true lifesaver!
This review is a year late as we haven't had the need to use them till now. We purchased these December 2022 as a result of a severe ice storm here in the Pacific Northwest. We actually had to crawl on our hands and knees to get up to our barn to feed the horses. After much looking and comparing of reviews, we decided these were a good value for the money and frankly didn't expect we would need them. Were we ever wrong! Flash forward to January 2024 and another massive ice storm. We pulled these out of the closet. strapped them on our rubber boots and didn't look back! What an amazing product! These are not professional mountain climbing gear, but they are fantastic for the light use we give them. They show no signs of wear or damage, and frankly it feels like we are walking on summer ground rather than the six inches of sheet ice we have right now. These crampons are easy to apply, add very little weight to your shoes/boots, and provide excellent traction in all directions (no more fear walking downhill)! Not a single slip so far. We are able to keep well ahead of our labrador who is seriously struggling to maintain her footing! We heartily recommend these. Good price point for quality light use crampons. These will never leave our possession!

good product
We have had a batch of ice here lately. I've had these grips for several years, not using them real often, but when I did use them, they did the job without being difficult to walk on. They are usually left on one of my winter boots just for slippery times. They fit snugly, are not hard to put on, and seem to give adequate footing on wet ice. I never reviewed them before, but just today thought to give a good review. When I got back to the house, I noticed that one of the stretchy holders was partially broken. I still recommend them because they gave me good service, but the rubber may have been starting to deteriorate after several years, and may be repairable. I climb in and out of equipment, and may have damaged them on the steps of the tractor which are a little aggressive. If you company people happen to read this, I would be very happy if you decided to send me a new set.

Excellent ice gripper
This is an excellent ice gripper. It holds on to your boots well, even better with the Velcro straps. I tried them at work when we had snow/ice (we are required to wear them) and they worked superbly. They are slick if you where them indoors, so make sure you use caution.

Great for not slipping, works with cowboy boots
Before ordering these I was a little nervous. I only wear cowboy boots and I didn’t know how well they would fit. They fit great over the boots. I am blind, so I couldn’t see the ice. This resulted in a lot of slips. While wearing these I never slipped. They had excellent grip, and weren’t too hard to put on, but stayed on well. I had two issues with them. The first was relatively minor. I wish that they would send a zipper case with them instead of a cinch bag case. They are ice cleats, so very difficult to slide in and out of the cinch case. They should put them in a zipper case that zips around them, so you can put them in the case and close the lid. The other issue was a little more major. I am always slightly rough with my footwear, so it did not surprise me, but they only lasted a month and a half before ripping out. I wear through heels on my cowboy boots usually in only six months, so it didn’t really surprise me, but it would be nice if they were slightly more durable. Still, better than slipping on the ice, so I did purchase more.

Icetrax
Product was easy to put over my winter shoes, size 12, and appears to be well made. Walked out on our icy walkway and they provided good grip on the ice. I also walked on the bare street so you can wear them on a bare surface without slipping. Would buy again.

Excellent
Have used them them in Michigan's winter weather and they've been fantastic particularly given how much ice we've had. They've been used for hikes up to six miles with different boots and shoes on extremely icy conditions and have performed flawlessly. Excellent even on pure ice. Rubber fittings work great and have not come close to coming off a variety of footwear. I was concerned that the cleats would wear down if used on asphalt or cement but that has not been the case and I have seen no detrimental effects of walking on either surface. I routinely walk 2 miles one way to work on a rail trail that has been totally iced over for weeks with these and they have been amazing. Highly recommend.

Work great!
These cleats are great because they’re easy to put on any shoe and they provide traction on snow and ice. I bought this pair for my husband but I have a pair and use mine for running when it’s icy or snowy. They stay on great and work fantastic.
