My husband said, "how much did you pay for that"? When I told him I got it on sale for 50 he said, "wow, that's a lot of detail and worth the money."It's cute. It will have to be boxed up in the same box after the holidays to protect it because it's very lightweight and probably fragile but it's worth the price tag. The drawers are small so perfect for tiny things like charms, small earrings, small chocolate pieces, money. A drawer will not fit a Lindt truffle but might fit a lifesaver. I would prefer larger drawers but it's nice looking so we're keeping it.

Like other reviewers, I first saw this on a Hallmark movie, lol. Doing a Google search I found these at all kinds of price points -- from $45-$90+. I bought this one for $45 and free shipping. It arrived quickly and in perfect condition. I LOVE IT!!!!! It is very light and a bit on the fragile side, so you just want to be careful when you are handling it. Yes, the boxes are very small but with a little thought and creativity, there are all kinds of things you can put in them. The fact that it is lighted adds so much! And I LOVE the finely detailed scenes. I plan to display this all winter, not just as a Christmas decoration. I was so impressed with this that I ordered another one for my mother. She is crazy about hers too!

This appears yo be a nice Advent calendar & is as advertised, I really like the lights, it gives it a nice warm glow. I would definitely buy it again

I got my Advent Village today and couldn't love it more! It was packed really well and nice/fine detail with lights - looks more expensive than it was! Highly recommend!

Nice Quality and Cute. But I wish I could plug it in because it's a battery eater if you forget to turn the lights off. Definitely recommend if you don't mind the battery part.

UPDATE:Didn't have to wait long as it was put onto MY fireplace after I knocked it off a bed. It is made with balsa-wood-type wood so VERY fragile. Knocking it off the bed broke a few pieces off. I glued them back but, it wasn't gift worthy now. So, I kept that one for me and ordered another as the gift. Now, after all the drama of breaking it, I'm sorta glad I did. I wouldn't have bought it for myself, but having it is great. The lights stand out over the fireplace and everyone who stopped by was commenting on it. Not going to bother with candy in the drawers, though. It even showed up in one of the new Christmas movies this year, so I'm not the only one loving it. SO, yes, I'd get it all over again and yes, it's really nice to look at.It looks really nice and the lights worked (always something to worry about). It's bigger than I thought it would be and will look nice on the mantle. The boxes are VERY small, so only small candies going in for the grandkids. I guess we'll need another review after it's seen its first Christmas...
