Sauder International Lux Round Coffee Table, L: 35.98" x W: 35.98" x H: 16.50", Black/Clear Glass

My son was able to by a NASCAR used tire on a visit to Daytona. He saw tables made out of them, and like it, so as part of a Christmas gift for his game room, I figure out a better way to display it. I cross-hatched 4 pieces of chain across the lower circle support, and cradled the tire underneath. The glass top then covers it.The frame is sturdy, and there is very little wiggle between the struts (I'm sure being circular helps).While taking the photo, I noticed a few issues.There is a slight imperfection/uneven grind in the frame/hoop that must have occurred in the polishing process. Not noticeable, since it's black. It appears that the glass is susceptible to scratching. I noticed several (6-7) small, fine, random scratches about 1/2 to3/4" long. The table was built in place a week ago, and little has been placed on it, other than some paper, coffee mug, and plastic game controllers.Of course, if it wasn't for the use case of needing a transparent surface, I wouldn't want a glass top, as the surfaces is hard to keep looking clean.

I purchased this table to use as a base for a very heavy Italian Travertine marble top and it works perfectly for that. I moved the glass top to the lower ring so that it forms a shelf. The item was very well packed, and I think that it took longer to unpack it than to assemble it! The table assembles with 12 screws, eight to fasten the legs to the top ring and four to attach the bottom ring to the legs, using the hex wrench provided.

I never thought I'd like a glass coffee table, but this one fits in really well with our living room.My main complaint is that the metal rings (the one that holds the glass and the lower support ring) are rather thin. Assembled, the table is sturdy enough, but unfortunately, one ring had been pushed inside the other one during shipping, which meant about 30 minutes struggling to get them apart, and when I succeeded, I realized they were slightly bent. The assembly process itself took all of about five minutes, and after screwing together the legs and putting in the glass, the bent frame is hardly noticeable if you don't look closely.For $100, I wasn't expecting incredible quality, but I think they should improve how it is packaged for shipping or make the rings of thicker metal.

My dog destroyed my old cocktail table, so I needed one that is dog-proof. This one is metal and glass, so it is impervious to my dog's chewing. I used a bevel-edged glass top I already had on top and moved the original top that came with the table to the bottom shelf. It fit perfectly. The table is very spacious on top. It was easy to assemble. It has a clean, minimalist modern look.

Now I see why people love this table. It's very well made but so easy to put together. It feels solid and the glass is quality. It was packaged really well and arrived early. I describe it as 'simple elegance' because, you can use it with casual or high-end furnishings. It's quite versatile. :)I did have an issue with FedEx as the driver literally left it at my gate near our driveway instead of walking another 30' to the porch! Ridiculous. FedEx has an 800 number for complaints if that happens to you, call them. I never have this issue with UPS. Hope Amazon speaks with FedEx about this because, it's not the first time it's happened. Very nice, minimalist coffee table. I have a sectional and wanted a simple round table and this was perfect. Arrived in perfect condition and it was very easy to assemble. It is a sturdy piece of furniture that can go with any decor. Only con is I wish it had a bottom shelf.

I recently bought new living room furniture & it was displayed at the store with a black round coffee table, but the price tag was ridiculous! So I started searching for a similar style for a fraction of the cost & saw this beauty on several websites, but Amazon had the best price! It's sleek & understated, which is the look I was going for. Easy to assemble & leveled. Thick quality of glass too. Shipping was quick and everything was packagd well. I also bought the matching end table. This is perfect for my style😊

Easy to put together and looks really nice. It only has glass on top, but I found one, a little bigger at Pier One. I put the new one on top and the one that came with it on bottom - even more functional. I have seen this table on other sites for twice the price. My daughter is going to order one for her place too. I highly recommend it!!!!
