This product is great for preventing dryer vent hose kinking however, it was about 2mm too small for my dryer vent. If so for you, save the frustration of trying to pry it on with a screwdriver or hold together with tape when the elbow and and vent are flushed with each other. I cut 2 slits on the elbow equal distance with tin snips. I then slipped the elbow on with one-half inside the vent and the other half outside. I secured the elbow with aluminum tape and a hose clamp. Order a hose clap with this elbow that is a little larger than 4 inches. This elbow show last the life of the dryer.

Dryer venting is a pain in the ass. My dryer vent to outside is 90 degrees from the back. I have tried side venting, but just not enough room and would have to do two 90s. This work great

Was having trouble with a lack of space for the hose, bending is not conducive to aluminum tubing. These solved my problem without a hitch,.Would highly recommend when ‘ just bending’ ,,,just won’t do.

Worked great just what I needed. Our portable air conditioner vents out the window an onto the front porch. Walking by it was like walking in front of an hair dryer. This elbow fit perfectly on the exhaust and redirected it away from people walking by.

The product did not fit the Dryer vent as mentioned .. internal dia of the product is way less than 4”.
