Avène RICH Revitalizing Nourishing Cream, Ultra Nourishing Face Moisturizer, Non-comedogenic 1.6 Fl Oz

I had been using Avene Compensating cream for years before it was reformulated and renamed as “Revitalizing” in (as I remember) 2020. At the time, every single comment I saw complained about its pilling and its getting worse after reformulation. Every single comment wished for the old formulation back. Because Avene Compensating was PERFECT for me, I got very anxious after reading the comments and decided not to purchase the new Revitalizing cream. I jumped around from products to products for the last 2 years (from expensive La Mer cream, Cle de peau La Creme, Lancome soft cream, Amorepacific Time Response to less expensive Clarins Hydra, Embryolisse). Nothing beat Avene Compensating cream. Nothing came close to Avene Compensating cream in terms of giving my easily irritated skin that clear, well moisturized, trouble-free, healthful look. Fast forward to the week of Thanksgiving 2022 after I got back from a Las Vegas trip with terribly dry and dehydrated reddish skin that nothing helped (and I always use sheet masks daily), I decided to give Avene Revitalizing a try. Worst case scenario, I would waste my $40 that I, very likely, would otherwise waste on another non Avene moisturizer. I’m so grateful I gave it a try. I don’t know if Avene listened to its loyal customers and brought the old formulation back, or if they improved the new formulation that pilled, but the Avene Revitalizing cream (I tried both rich and regular versions) did not pill at all for me and as far as I can still remember, Avene Compensating cream felt the same to me. After 2 nights of Avene Revitalizing, my skin is pretty much back to normal now. I think this is the old formulation but I can’t say for sure because it was more than 2 years ago when I last used the cream, but no matter what, if it keeps being what it is now, I will be a customer for life. Please Avene. Don’t change formulation again.

Since I met this brand. I can't live withouth their products. This cream is the best for my delicate skin.

I have purchased this creme multiple times and I LOVE IT. It's the perfect consistency, rich and luxurious. I also love the light fragrance and hope they never make it unscented. It's part of my nightly routine, and the whole experience makes me feel special.

Wonderful facial creme. Goes on smoothly, takes very little. Feels great on my face. Will last a long time.Love their eyelid creme, too.

I really wanted to love this product and I still do somewhat.It's thick in the jar but a little does go a long way. Once on refrain from rubbing/massaging it in as it pills. Once on it is extremely light, leaves a delicate scent I'm going to say is roses. It reminds me of the estee lauder or olay creams my grandma uses. My face does feel silky and it doesn't feel incredibly greasy as most other moisturizers leave it.I still give it 4/5, 3.5 might be better just because of the price on top of it pilling. Back on the hunt for the perfect moisturizer!

I wanted to love this because it feels so good on my skin, but whatever scent they put in it causes a red rash on my neck. Too bad I can’t return it.

Rich but not oily, soothing, fast absorbing with a dlicate smell. The little paddle it comes with, to fish the cream out of the jar without using your fingernails, helps a lot. Reasonbly priced.

This cream is nice but I was looking for a thicker more moisturizing cream. I wake up with my face dealing dry ☹️
