Alessi YoYo 3/4-inch (19-mm) BM08 Stainless Steel Pill Box

I can carry it in my handbag, put it on the table, take it away with me as it carries one week and the days are numbered 1-7. I use it for my lunch time medication. My morning and evening medication is too much to fit in any pot!! This is just great for that because you can be sure that any time I am out I will need it!!

Not inexpensive, but a nice design and smooth operation. Very pleased with it

This pill box holds tablets for a 7 day period. No separate compartments for timed pill taking throughout the day or am/pm which suited me. I couldn't state how many pills per segment as it will depend on pill size. To operate you can fill by removing the silver steel lid that pulls up, fill the containers & replace. Its a two handed job to operate, holding base with one & twisting while depressing the tear drop return station. Turn the silver top to select day to release pills. It opens each section along the way so careful they don't all fall out. It wouldn't suit people who couldn't operate the mechanism.It's numbered 1 through 7 along the side of the plastic bottom case. On the base of this it has the corresponding days of the week, Monday aligning to number 1.My niggle is that the days (even Friday, being the shortest word) do not line up smartly in the middle of the corresponding section. That's perhaps OK if you are buying a cheap product but we are paying for a designer product here Alessi so this should never have passed the designers keen eye.Another slight issue with design is you can only open it when you hold it upright if you want the pills to remain in the case until you tip into your hand. In reality the natural positioning my hands wish to assume is by holding it side on like a yoyo would be held & the pills fall out as you twist.Those are my gripes & big gripes at £33 for a designer piece.On the plus side it helps me see easily if I have remembered to take my pills & it looks nice on my bedside & convenient to take away for a weekend.It's slightly flawed in some areas of design as specified- I like perfection & this isn't perfect. Would I buy again? Difficult. It ticked my boxes but so would a plastic strip for a fiver. This just looks better & costs way more! I suppose it's less obvious what it is- more discreet. I'd purchase again only if it was considerably cheaper or had it's flaws ironed out.

Almost perfect, looks lovely, bought for my GF who is an interior designer and very difficult to please when it comes to both function and form. This ticked both boxes, only small criticism is reading days is a little hard but not worth knocking a star off. Well made, looks lovely, top product if you want something that doesn't look like it's straight out of the NHS.

This is lovely if you take tiny pills. If you take anything bigger than a caplet you’re done for. Standard cod liver oil doesn’t fit for example, lumity does for any beauty lovers looking for extra wow on their dressing table.

Worth the price! Chic, large enough to fit in all my vitamins and small enough for travel

It looks nice but it’s fiddly to fill with pills to start with and then tricky to remove them each day! Would have returned it but it wasn’t on Prime so see it would have to go back to Germany (no idea why!) and believe me it will probably not turn up!! Had that problem before. You have been warned!
