I needed an oil can as I had lost my last one in the move to the new house. The last one was from TSC and it took a beating but always worked. This one is of better quality and is actually less expensive than my last one!I like how it works, nice and smooth. It has also seen some rough use and looks and works great!

A very well made oiling can with strong gaskets, the flexible neck is very useful. Happy with my purchase.

I got this oil can to lube lawn tools with bar and chain oil. After priming, I am able to easily apply precise amounts from a single drop to a full squirt. The trigger moves smoothly. It holds prime for a few hours, but it does slowly lose prime over the course of a day or two, after which I need to pull the trigger a couple times before getting any oil.With regard to other reviews about leaks, I've had it in an outdoor shed for a week of Atlanta summer so far and have not had any leaks. Time will tell. Just in case, I've stored it on a plastic lid to catch any oil that may slowly leak.My only complaint is that the flexible spout is not nearly as flexible as I had hoped, although it is narrow and somewhat bendy so it should be able to get into most tight spots.

No leaks, easy fill, easy pump.I need this to fill an impossible to access reservoir - long flexible delivery tube.

I did read the prior reviews indicating that others had problems with leakage but it seemed to have good reviews as well and it was reported to be manufactured in the USA. Well I ordered this can and intended to use it with Aviation Hydraulic Fluid. I have used the cheap Harbor Freight Cans for years with this same fluid and have had no problems although I just didn't like the nozzle and wanted a can made in the USA if possible so I foolishly tried this Goldenrod can. It began to leak within the first 2 hours after I filled it and the leak is around the bottom of the can along the rim. I don't know if the manufacturer stamps the can in a press or welds or glues the base to the body of the can but the seam is faulty. This truly junk!I wouldn't trust this company again! The full name of the manufacturer of this defective oil can is the Dutton-Lainson Company. I would NOT recommend their products! For one thing, the reviews of this and similar cans made by this company have indicated that they leak yet this company has obviously decided to keep on marketing crap to trusting customers as long as it sells rather than "retooling" and actually make a this product reliable and functional! My advice is to AVOID THE PRODUCTS FROM THIS COMPANY!
