Very easy to use
Easy to use, excellent little microwave sandwich toaster, crisps the bread well, often use for a really quick lunch, all parts are washable, 2 minutes on one side then simply turn it over for another 2 minutes , simple.

Brilliant idea!
Everyone in my family loves this. It really works well and is quick and easy with no mess. Perfect for self catering holidays. And good for gluten free toasties when there is no dedicated toaster available. It will make normal toast just as well. Easy to clean, and will go in the dishwasher too.Just one note, it is better to use proper butter rather than the spreadable kind as there is water in those and it doesn't come out so crispy. Let it cool after making 2 toasties if you are doing a lot, as it will overheat. But we love this.

Brilliant concept
How has it taken so long to invent this? Amazing item to have in the kitchen drawer. Yes it is that compact that in can easily fit in a drawer or handbag even to take to work. It all comes apart completely and is a doddle to wash. It is dishwasher safe but in all honestly it just is easy to wash and wipe clean at the sink. Depending on your microwave settings, you will have your toastie ready to eat within about 3 -3 and a half minutes. I have used normal thickness and toaster type bread and both have been fine. Cheese melts as expected. The only issue is full sized sliced bread is too big unless you cut the crusts off. The small half loaf slices are slightly too small to cover the plates. However, I was lucky to get this discounted in the used/returned section. It looked 100% new and so definitely good value. If you like French toast, just pop a slice buttered both sides in and it is nice and crunchy.

Easy to use, Easy to clean, Easy to store!
Even after reading the reviews, I was sceptical, but I went ahead and bought it.We are toastie lovers so tested it out as soon as it was delivered, and I have to say that the result was perfect!Quick, crispy and no mess!Even though our traditional toastie maker has removable plates, its still a faff to clean, as the cheese somehow manages to seep everywhere - but it was totally different with thisNo preheating, just prepare your bread, choose your filling, clamp it into the gadget and pop it in the microwave and hey presto its ready!Crispy, hot and perfectNo seepage, no mess, no hassle! But the enjoyment doesn't stop there, as the clean up process is a breeze tooThis new toastie maker is much smaller - making it far more accessible in the 'gadget cupboard'Its much quicker to use - so its not a hassle to have toasties anymoreIts much cleaner - so the clean-up dread is no longer an issue10/10 from usWe have already recommended it to friends & family in the hope that we will soon convert everyone!

I think people only say it's great because influencers have said it's great (it's not)
Like others, I have seen this gadget all over TikTok, then the price drop on Prime day finally tempted me to give it a go. The promise of a quick, easy toastie with minimal effort was very appealing and I honestly couldn't wait to try it.It fits bread that is fairly square in shape, so my Co-op toastie loaf was perfect. You lightly butter the outside, then add your filling to within 10mm of the edge to avoid seepage. The lid clips into place and then you pop it in the microwave for a duration to suit your liking. Times are given for light, medium and high browning (3, 4 and 5 minutes in a 900W oven respectively) with a flip-over around the half-way mark. For my first try I opted for the medium browning, and I have to say upon taking it out of the microwave it looked pretty perfect. But it was downhill from there...The filling at this point is scalding hot. I mean literally first-degree burn hot. So you need to let it cool for a good few minutes before you bite into it. But my first bite of the corner did not go well. It was so tough I found it to be inedible, and couldn't even chew it. The second bite of the edge only faired marginally better, being chewy rather than crispy. Crust aside, the rest of the toastie was actually quite palatable, although a little soggy in the centre.Undeterred, I tried again on the light setting. This time, I tried cheese and beans, but you can only fit about 2 teaspoons of beans before it's over-filled, and it still seeped out a tiny bit. The light setting was hopeless. The crust was still chewy but the rest of the bread was very soggy indeed, and it still takes a long time to cool down before you can bite into it without burning yourself. The instructions say you can't use this in a combination microwave oven, which was annoying because that's what I have and there was no mention of that in the listing. But I think that only means on the combination setting because I tried it on the microwave only function and it worked just fine.Overall, this isn't a game-changing gadget. The commission-earning influencers have clearly talked-up a fairly mediocre invention into sounding a lot better than it really is, when two slices of bread in a normal toaster is far better in my opinion.
