Bobbi Brown New Creamy Concealer Kit

Great product, wife loves it

I have used this concealer for over five years and I love it. It matches my skin perfectly, is creamy and easy to apply with a finger or a brush, it does not make my acne-prone skin break out, and it completely covers very dark hyperpigmentation.It is now discontinued, so I have had to buy it here instead of directly from Bobbi Brown, and this is where some difficulty ensues: When the price was normal (over $20), I had no issues, but when the price dropped down to less than $10, it seems the entity vending it here is not very careful about providing the correct color, or making sure the concealer is new and unused.If you can click on my other reviews, and see my review of a particular beauty vendor, you will see which one to avoid (can't say here). I will be waiting, in the meantime, for the price to go back up, hopefully indicating a more reputable entity is involved.

I have been using it for over ten years. It is so convenient to have the powder palette together. I learned recently at the Bobbi Brown counters that it is now discontinued and they are only selling concealer sticks. That's why I am going online to buy the end stocks. It is unfortunate that cosmetics brands discontinue good products for the sake of making changes to refresh their product mix. I have encountered this situation a number of times across different cosmetics brands for different products. It seems like the people at the product development department of cosmetics companies don't understand what makes a good product from the customer's perspective and they make changes for the sake of making changes.

I have one request. A concealer should conceal. I feel this is pretty good but I have a challenge for any concealer. A tiny red dot on the end of nose is a challenge.Works pretty well but not enough coverage.

I suffer from purplish under eye bags. I wear a concealer that has a red undertone but then it looks too red in comparison to the rest of my face. So recently I put this (the concealer side) over the top, of the reddish concealer and WHOLA it's perfectly matched to the rest of my face!

There were finger prints in the concealer side of the two pack. I cleaned with alcohol and kept, because I didn’t want to bother with sending back. Luckily I use the powder side more than the creamy concealer.

Arrived on time, but color was darker than expected. Color chart needs to be more accurate, especially for cosmetics.

Wonderful product! I use my finger to tap it on then blend it with a small flat concealer brush. it's buildable in areas you may want more converage, so the finish is seamless. The yellow powder is a miracle. Just be careful that you have blended it out of any lines before placing the powder using a small natural hair brush. I tried using my Bobbi Brown setting powder-no go. It works fine, but the yellow powder gives a slight believable brightening effect-genius! i'd been using the stick formula cle de peau for a few years, and was experiencing a few problems. First the product, being very opaque and creamy, was settling and showing every little line. Also, my mascara was bleeding into it terribly. Now, both problems are solved, and the finish is so much more believably pretty!!!
