Can this be used in a sewing machine?

Yes but only find it easy as top thread. Bobbin thread sometimes gets twisted and upsets stitching. Try it on scrap of fabric to be used first.

Can this be used for singer embroidery machine?

Sorry I don’t know but I can’t see any reason why not! I have a janome machine for quilting and I think this is the best of the invisible threads. I use it for applique

Would this be suitable for English paper piecing a babies quilt?

I personally would not recommend this for baby products as if there are any threads come loose they are sharp as it’s a nylon thread

No. Its very fine transparent thread, a bit like very fine fishing line.
