PRO Series Throw Levers Compatible for Vortex Optics

MK machine makes great products and this throw lever is no different.

I bought this for a new Razor LHT 3-15x42 scope just mounted on a Tikka Roughtech Lite T3x chambered in 308 Win. My first Vortex scope and I was bummed at how tight the magnification adjustment was, and especially since it did not come with an adjustment throw bolt (like all my Leupolds have). I was looking at the Vortex throw lever, but they actually don't make one for the Razor LHT, so they pointed me to this polymer throw lever from MK Machining. I was a little skeptical, but must admit that the product fits perfectly on this scope, even with low scope mount rings, and makes it way easier to move from low to high magnification and back without coming out of the eye box.One thing to note is that the throw lever didn't come with any directions, though it is just one allen screw connection, so easy enough to figure out. However, I noticed there was no positive stop when tightening the screw, so stopped short and checked the manufacturer's website for torque specs. They note that you should only tighten finger tight with the small end of an allen key, or about 8 psf torque. Overtightening will deform the polymer and lead to premature failure. So just be cautious when installing and this thing should give many years of good service.

I like the design and they seem durable and well made. The material is just too thick and would not work in my application. I could not open the bolt, tight clearance. Company was cool and just refunded my money. Would use this company again.

This throw lever has more than lived up to my expectations. Great fit, great finish. Solid. Reasonably priced. Very satisfying addition to my Vortex Diamondback Tactical. And, it was delivered several weeks sooner than expected!

Fits up perfectly to my Vortex Diamondback Tactical 6-24x50. At 6x magnification point the throw arm is right down to the left just above the picatinny tail on the AR10 receiver. All the way at 24x the arm is on the low right and sits just about 1/32” forward and above my 45 degree offset back up red dot. It is perfect. Perfect. Couldn’t have been better if it was custom made for my set up.

Product works great on my razor lht 4.5-22x50, at first I put it so the words were facing the butt of the gun but the bolt knob would hit the throw lever. I flipped it around so the words would face the barrel and everything clears perfectly now

This was purchased for a Vortex Crossfire II on a bolt-action rifle . So I want to be clear this is a solid piece of polymer; cut and design are top notch. The only issue I have is that it’s just a tad too bulky, particularly the “paddle”, in particularly how this product would be intended to sit naturally on the focus eyepiece. At the lowest power setting (6-24x50mm scope, so 6x), the paddle would naturally be installed at about the 3’/4’ position, which unfortunately places it in direct line with the bolt handle when ejecting/extracting a cartridge. If I sit the paddle at 1’/2’, rotating the paddle counter-clockwise to increase zoom power will force the paddle to hit the stock of the rifle and the NOT let the scope zoom to full power (24x in my case), just maybe get to about 18x.
